If we can win the rest of our games - considering some of the tough fixtures Leicester have and considering our GD - I think we just might win the league. Just.

There, I said it.

yes, we are running out of games and 7 points is a big gap.

But like i keep saying psychology is a huge part in any sport. If they lose one, they could have a bad reaction.

Its very unlikely I know but not impossible. Not yet anyway

It's not over until it's mathematically impossible. West Ham can certainly take points off Leicester as well and Man U are still a really tough proposition at OT, they do not concede many at home.

Lol. We might as well go back to the race for top 4 thread. The title is gone.

We'd have to win all our games; and If we'd have lost or drawn today I'd have to agree.

But the way we won that...I dunno.

L'ster play West Ham, Swansea, United, Everton, Chelsea.

All of those teams have a chance of beating them. they lose two games and draw one and we win all of ours, then the title is ours.

A monumental effort is needed and we can't lose/draw any of our remaining games.

all we can do is keep winning
9 points out of ten including games against liverpool and man u, its not as if we are choking
if we finish 2nd although will be gutting will still be an achievement, and the team is only going to get better

That is a hard set of fixtures, especially with Swansea seemingly coming into some form. Is it HAAHA?

Leads in certain sports can be deceptive. If this was F1, Leicester would be half a lap ahead with 10 laps to go, but they're in a Sauber on a used set of tyres and we've just come roaring out the pits in our Ferrari on a fresh set of the Super Softs.

I still think we'll catch them.

There was fear in Leicester's play today, unfortunately there was more fear in Sunderland's. But their next opponents, West Ham and Swansea, will play without fear, and I'm certain they won't win either, and we'll be within 3 points of them.

Just enjoy the games, be proud of our young team and we finish where we finish. So proud of them today, under pressure a young team. We have been superb this year.

5 games, 7 points. We just can't give up.

What's frustrating is that we play every bloody game (bar the last) after they do. 3 Monday night games and a Sunday. The psychological aspect of playing catch up is really not going to help us. It's pretty much weighted against us.

As for the games left - we've got Stoke, West Brom, Chelsea, Southampton and Newcastle. Stoke will want to make up for their shit game today and playing them away can be tough. Chelsea and Southampton will give us a hard time, no doubt. West Brom are a bogey side for us and it's a Pulis side, they'll park the bus. Newcastle may not be relegated by then and could be fighting for it, who knows. We already fucked up once against them this season.

They've got Wham, Swansea, United, Everton and Chelsea. There is a chance for them to drop points. Wham have got decent results in the big games this season, let's hope they don't fuck us over here. I can see them beating Swansea and Everton at home, neither team have been great this season. I can even see them beating United away considering how poor they are right now, but hopefully United will make them drop points. Chelsea as the last game is a tough one, to be fair. They may be chasing a Europa spot.

As I said above, I think it's weighted against us right now. We're playing catch up for the rest of the season. They've got a really good 7 point lead. Their games are potentially tough, but I just can't see them dropping enough points whilst we don't drop points.

This result is massive, I think this gives us the confidence to go on and win our remaining games.

But I still don't see Leicester dropping 7 points. Been a brilliant season regardless

another way of looking at it is that stoke are playing shit, west brom have zilch to play for, chelsea will want to beat us but they are hardly winning at home and have a load of problems, saints will be a hard game but would still expect to win, and barcodes look awful
our run in now is a lot better, from scum, spammers, city, liverpool and man u who we have all played recently we have got done ok and got 8 points, probably deserved 10
