No it means that each game you are looking to catch the team above you

Such a worn out irrelevant cliche ....

It does not make any difference whether you look one way or the other since all that matters is that you are looking to beat the next opposition. It has no bearing on this view whether your are looking one way or the other, nor will it change the performance.

Far from it

having positive targets is a good thing, you can look over your shoulder and worry about others catching you or you can focus on catching those above you, far better targeting bettering those above than worrying about those below as one gives a positive the other a more negative

there's a very different emphasis in how you approach things depending on how you look at it

some people are glass half empty people and others are glass half full, in looking for success it's far better to have a positive approach, far better to have that extra belief

it would take a two month run of title-winning form from both assnal and chelsea to overhaul us.

Besides, last season broke me. I have no more tears to shed on behalf of THFC.

First of all, both of them won't have such form.
Secondly, I have been broken on many occasions. Not this year. Come on AVB, and COYS., (don't want to start a new COYAVBS acronym).
Keep the faith Misfit!!
