Is Marcus Edwards likely to play? It's worrying that he hasn't play any competitive games for months.

Not sure hasn't featured so far bit Onomah user to feature so who knows. It's possible he might not play again for rest of season. Definitely no first tram matches and Poch generally doesn't like em playing 23s.

Hope this doesn't affect how he feels wrt staying here

Granted he's been injured a bit but I'm sure he would have hoped for a lot more this season with big clubs sniffing around
Yeah hopefully he has enough sense to be patient, he's got to be seeing how well Winks has been doing and know that he'll get his fair chance here soon enough.

Changed, post sounded very cynical and doom and gloom.

But let's hope he has the patience to wait for Winks has experienced. He would have a lot of clubs in his ear with money when compared to Winks, so arguably bot comparable.

I think the fact that edwards is not playing u23 matches and u18 matches is a good sign, it means Poch sees him as a member of the first team. He will learn by training with the best. He will get chances next season I'm sure!

Regardless of level, there aren't too many footballers that played no football before making a breakthrough

He's playing every day in training. Having watched a few, but not many, Under 18 and U23 matches I'm not convinced that the intensity of such matches would match a Poch training session. I don't know what he would gain from playing at the youth levels.
