I'd release Stylianides.

I don't really see Pritchard ever progressing he has to many poor games and though he offers a goal threat I can' t see him being kept on . Styliandes though I still think he has some promise and could move forward as a player.
I think its a shame about Ogilvie he was the outstanding player in a very good youth side though its hard to see him with a path forward.

Maghoma needs to cut errors out of his game though as a young footballing centre back its a harsh lesson sometimes he has some ability and could become a good centre back - Amos is another with potential but he needs to be more dnamic than he is

disagree, technically he might still be an u16 but he's only a couple of months younger than griffiths and hinds for example. he's been playing u18s all season and is even starting ahead of 2nd years like duncan and roles at times, no doubt he will still play u18s next year but i'd expect him to play plenty of u23s too, especially when you consider the size of next year's intake who'll all need game time themselves.
Fair enough. How many CMs for the U23s is too many in your opinion?

hard to say but probably no more than six. given we typically play with three anyway then there will be plenty of games to go around, marsh will drop back to cb here and there i would've thought and skipp will at times play u18s. a lot depends on who's kept on and who isn't but i would still expect skipp to play a decent amount of u23s next season.

on a separate note, sterling is in today's 1st team training pics (y)

Sterling deserves it hopefully he takes his chances, if he is willing to learn and work hard he has the finishing skills and physique to be a very handy player.

Scotland u16s won their UEFA Development tournament, Binks started 2 out of the 3 games. Contained them, Croatia, Austria and Iceland. They topped the mini league with 8 points. Binks didn't start the last match against Austria, but scored a pen as Scotland won 5-4 in a penalty shootout

The second goal is pretty horrendous too - just shared it on my Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/WindyCOYS/

Charlie Owens looks very slow down the left, and then Marsh doesn't get a shout about the scorer running by his left shoulder/Maghoma doesn't read the danger.

I'm going to give Owens a break on this one, he shouldn't be 1v1 with a player that quick and couldn't have started any deeper without treading on the centre half's toes. As a team they need to be smarter, passing on and keeping their shape better. God knows where our left side has gone in that move. Can't quite see who it is who slides in and completely sells himself but that wasn't great either. Maghoma, as the senior centre back, needs to be taking control of that situation. There seems to be precious little tactical awareness in the transition phase. I don't know why, we've got Ehioigu coaching them, who was an excellent organising centre half. I get that we're trying to enhance all of our defenders attacking transitional play - raking passes to the flank, carrying the ball out, isolating the oppositions strikers and drawing the oppo's defensive line up but it seems to be at the expense of any defensive awareness.

Spurs U18s (v Arsenal): Whiteman, Eyoma (c), Hinds, Oakley-Boothe, Dinzeyi, Skipp, Patterson, Duncan, Sterling, Roles, Griffiths. #COYS

Strange side - Skipp at CB, TOB as the deepest midfielder?

skipp's played there quite a bit before plus there's not many other options given tanganga and marsh played for the u23s yesterday, as for tob i actually prefer him there as games sometimes pass him by when he's a bit further forward. looks a good side.

U18s: GOAL! We've been under pressure in last 15mins but Patterson crosses from the byline and Roles heads in to double lead. 2-0, 26mins

patterson making a good start at u18 level, a goal and two assists in his first couple of games.

As BG said it's relativley strange but Skipp has played CB for England and us a few times and TOB generally will play deepest for England if not holding mid. So if Skipp isn't playing. I like him there too, but he is very versatile. More don't understand why they don't just put Eyoma CB and have Lock at RB. Though they probably think Skipp is a better CB than Lock is a RB, which is fair.

I do really like him. He is another who is unfortunate that he is in such a strong international age group

What height is Skipp? Any time I've seen him (very little - the odd England game just) he can't have looked more than 5'8. I know we have played Marsh there quite often too - presumably just allows us to bring the ball out from the back more comfortably, which we love encouraging at this level.

Got some news on tsaroula.

Both his parents were born in england both from greek families. My mate is adamant he will not play for greece (think that's more personal feelings though. He really doesn't want him to).

When the new coach came in he left nick out for a few games. Nick went to see him and asked if he could have a word the coach said that he had to go to a meeting. Nick said he'd wait.
After a few hours his mum rang him to see where he was, he told her that he was waiting for the coach. She said that he hadn't eaten and should come home and see him another time. He refused. So she drove to the training ground and took him some food.
The coach came out of the meeting and was suprised to see him still there (i think he had waited for four hours or something).
They then had a chat for about half hour and afterwards his mum asked him how it went. He said he thought it went well.
He's started everygame since.

Didn't realise that we had a new coach. From grimsby or something who is it?
