After Claude Seanla, Maghoma is the worst player to feature in our youth setup. An ambomination of a footballer who highly doubt will ever make it as a pro.

There are ways to express views which are less likely to ever hurt or harm young players, particularly when friends or family could use this site. Describing a young Tottenham player as an "ambomination" (sic) is not very impressive.

That U21 team is so weird. Loft, Maghoma and Tracey still getting games, despite the expectation that all will leave sooner rather than later. Presumably because they are all big, strong lads and that this might be a tough game and we might need some physicality in the team - does that not go against every bit of philosophy running throughout the club?

I'm so surprised that McDermott is allowing this to continue as it is. I realise there is a duty of care to these players who we have invested a lot in, and we want to help them develop and ultimately find clubs, but if that's at the expense of developing other, better players then I struggle with it.

I think it's time the manager delves into the academy to freshen things up again.

Hopefully one or two will get a run out against APOEL next week, have a great game and force themselves into the manager's thoughts. Thats the only way it will happen as far as I can see it

It is clear to most that he is absolutely nowhere near the required standard and it's an ongoing mystery as to why he's still at the club. The boy has had a fabulous opportunity for years now and enough is enough. He's been coached and developed in some of the finest facilities in the game by top quality coaches. The club would also of invested in his education and given him untold opportunities to fly around the World to play in tournaments. Pro football is a tough old gig and only the very few will make a career from it. As much as watching him 'play' makes my eyes bleed it's actually unfair on the boy as he really needs to either get out to a non-league club or look for an alternative career path.

You can add Pritchard to that list, he has had some good games this year but he should be finding first team football every week.

Hopefully KWP gets that game. I would also like to see Edwards and Georgiou/Shashoua on the bench at least. Clearly Poch doesn't think much of N'Koudou and given we've splashed £20m on him and N'Jie combined and got fuck all from it there's nothing to lose in giving an opportunity to an academy winger in a position where we lack.

Agreed, though Pritchard has actually had some pretty decent performances this season.

TBH I'd have put Georgiou in the same category as this group so what do I know?!

I don't think Georgiou will make it here ultimately but I do like his positive intent to run with the ball like a classical wide player does. With his speed having him come on against tired legs could be a short term option until we have better options. The exuberance of youth is also a factor. Bar the CL and the odd PL game this season has felt like we're just drifting along. Youth players are energetic and their liveliness can reignite the others.
