CCV dropped to the bench today. Norwich 3-1 down at qpr 20 mins left You would think Marcus might get more than five mins today

and another for parrott, a penalty this time. think he hit the woodwork once or twice too.

finished 2-1 or 3-1, bennett may or may not have added a third.

Norwich have won 1 league game in 10, season was already over and 4-1 down and Marcus doesn't come on at all. Norwich manager can't be far from sack, hopefully it's today and they give Sherwood the job. He'd start Edwards every game till end of season, I know he's had injury problems but been such an annoying loan so far.

think the most impressive thing is the range of finishes. not sure which is my favourite. maybe #9, not the most spectacular but just for the kane-like composure to dip inside and slot home. they're all pretty damn good though to be fair.

Reminds me a lot of Kane - takes up good positions in the box, and can hit the long range shots. Cheeky little pen too.

lol, Is Enoch Asante saying "Yes, great goal" at 1:10 or is he pissed off that Parrott took it off him? I can't be sure.

i think he's just happy/hyped. was actually paris by the way, asante wasn't in the squad.

on a side note; markanday won best foreign player at the tournament and parrott obviously got the golden boot. tainio and bennett made it into the best 11(not including those who won individual awards). i haven't seen the final game yet so maybe he had a stormer in that but i didn't think bennett had the best of times, he was mostly playing at left back though which was clearly alien to him as you could see that all he wanted to do was run with the ball. tainio was solid at cb bar an unfortunate own goal.

Bowden was also midfielder of the tournament. From what I have seen Markanday, Bowden and of course Parrott deserves their awards. As I said I think it's nice that Markanday has received some indiviual recognition for his performances this season. While it's not a season thing, it's good that he has come away with something, especially as he seems like such a good person too and well liked.

I'm not sure how they decided their best 11 as none of the other players made it into it, so I think it was an 11 of decent players rather than the best, but I'm not sure. Shame that objectively according to whoever is watching we have essentially the best players but didn't manage to win.

Also the 2nd time I can remember facing Atalanta in youth football, both times have gone to pens and we've won once and lost once.

Something I've noticed already with Parrott in the games I've watched and the Ireland matches, as I said before he is also flair and confidence. Like Ibra, you would never see Kane at any level try a panenka, but it doens't surprise me that Parrott does. He knows he is the main man at international level, and their talisman and shows a good arrogance. Nice he still has it with us

I've seen bits and pieces of most of the games and Bowden really stands out to me (again). To me he's so much more impressive than Maghoma, who I feel can sometimes rely on his frame and strength. Bowden's clearly really working on his passing, his range has always been decent but he's now firing these flat long-range passes in an almost Eriksen-like way. Really impressive.

I think we're in for an exciting year next year.

When edwards went, norwich had a very good chance of playoffs, they easily had one of the easier fixture list near the tail end but they have fucked up big imo

Just seems bizarre from Norwich point of view to take Edwards with no real intent to play him. Unless the plan was always to take him for 18 months.

Genuinely could have had the intention to take him now, bed him in, then use him as a short-term replacement for Maddison.

But with Farke at risk of getting the sack that could all go to pot.

How long until he gets the media hype of "The Next Robbie Keane" or "The Next Harry Kane"

Cheers for posting. Some great finishes there.

Whats more impressive is that we've seem to have cloned Harry Kane. Lots of the finishes were very similar! ???

Hard to tell from those clips and pictures I've seen, but for a 16 year old Parrott seems a decent size. Didn't Kane have a big growth spurt around 18?

He sort of had two. He wasn't that big at 15. By 17 he was bigger than his teammates. He wasn't much bigger than his teammates at Leyton Orient but then around 18 and a half he suddenly bulked up quite a lot.

Here is a pic of Harry as an U16. He's top right and probably 15 years old.

U16 U18 2009 Maggionirighi torneo squad.jpg

For reference the other players are; from left to right - Back Row: Kdus Oyenuga, Olumide Durojaiye, Cameron Lancaster, jon Miles, Ryan Fredericks, Harry Kane. Front Row: Alex Pritchard, Callum Tapping, Jake Bowden, Chris Ramsey (Coach), Paul McBride, Zaine Francis-Angol, Jesse Waller-Lassen.
