With all these kids going abroad I’m excited to see how they progress.
If things go well I would mind seeing younger ages go to.
They all won't make it, as the chances that on every occasion the English player comes through is slim, but I still believe they have a better chance. Though saying that I wonder if the clubs would really push the English players knowing that they get sell them on for exorbitant fees in the future.
Even if it's just Sancho, Madueke and Panzo for example, the future of England will be in a great place, if they came through and fulfilled their talent.
If that happens, surely that must get some reaction from English football? That the future of England have a better chance having careers outside England.
The last bit?
I'm not sure, what it would take for clubs to look inwards for players before they look outwards. The 3 richest clubs probably don't really care as they can buy whoever they want. I can see City buying Sancho back for well over 50m in the future, do you think they'd even care? Like United and Pogba. They just want the best players, and aren't willing to show much patience.
I think Foden is slightly different as he is seen as their jewel, the local lad. If someone has to come through it will be him, as he will also be good to market for the club

My issue is not with the top 6 clubs in this country as that forms a mini league on it's own with a step change in quality.
My issue is with the mid-table teams who must have seen what we achieved by investing in youth nearly two decades ago.
Why don't Everton hoover up every promising youngster in the North West by offering them a squad place and the wage to go with it?
Why don't West Ham or Palace hoover up every talented kid who doesn't get a game for Chelsea, us, and Arsenal?
Like Rose and Lennon, etc these are only a couple of million pound punts and, with no European football, it places no pressure on their squads.
Weirdly Liverpool and Everton have been hoovering up kids from London and the home counties for awhile now - considering the melting pot of talent they should already be sitting on in their area, I've always found that odd.

Ref (getting pen out): That was a bad tackle, son. What's your name?
Player: Oluwatobiloba Oluwayemi
Ref (putting pen away): Yeah, well, just a word of warning this time. Don't do it again, eh.
