Only watched the last set but that was really enjoyable. Aided by the fact that Norrie won of course.

Norrie getting it done when not at his best shows he has the guts to hang in there when the going gets tough but he plays Djokovic next and that will be another level entirely.

Once he got through to the fifth set he found his rhythm, a bit late but you have to be gutsy and hang in there sometimes. He was fantastic fifth set, it all seemed to come together and he believed, especially towards the end he was awesome.

What a come back for Norrie. Played some great shots towards the end.
Whole different ball game against Novak next though ?

Incredible from Nadal - injured early on, fought on for the win. Fritz was excellent despite defeat.

Love the replies to this, everybody saying such positive things about Norrie & Murray.

All I think when I read it is that Murray thinks Norrie doesn’t have much natural talent

Nadal has pulled out giving Kyrgios a bye to the final. I know that's the rules but I really feel that you should have to play a semi final.

So, it seems like Nadal has withdrawn from tomorrow's game due to a 7mm tear in his abdominal muscles. Heartbreaking news, even if I thought there was no way for him to beat Kyrgios tomorrow anyway.

Hope he hasn't endangered the rest of his season by choosing not to quit yesterday early on.

Maybe they should consider bringing on the lucky loser option for this situations? But that may damage the integrity of the competition, I think.

I imagine Kyrigos would also wanted to have played Nadal or atleast not have a walkover. If he wins it or whatever, there will always be an asterisk as it were and dont think he would like that.

I was really looking forward to that - as others have mentioned - it had all the makings of a classic.

I don't feel the integrity is damaged by a lucky loser getting another chance due to injury. But that might just be me.

Now do Djokovic and Norrie...
Strangely they’ve only played once (ATP finals where Djokovic won)

It’s like a game of paper scissor stone:
  • Norrie beats Kyrios
  • Djokovic beats Norrie
  • Kyrios beats Djokovic

Djokovic must be rubbing his hands at his run of games to win a slam
