I hope we hang onto Townsend for the future...I can see him being an excellent player! I really like him.

He looked a damn sight more effective than Harry Kane trying to get onto that ball!:p

i know townsend is both footed, but can he play on the right? if he can i rather not waste extra money for a RW cover, (since we missed out on hoilet) and spend the rest of the money purely on a striker, lloris and replacement for modric..

Made his Spurs first team debut (admittedly v Champiionship Coventry in FA Cup) on right wing. Man of the match and scored a goal. Most spectators did not realise he was actually a left winger.
