Pickford hasn't done anything in an england shirt where I'd say he needs to be dropped.

My personal opinion is that the england 11 picks itself over the next 12 months, there's a few who need more experience but I'd go

Pickford
Trent Gomez Maguire Chillwell
Rice Winks
Sancho Dele Sterling
Kane

I'd stick with that 11 get them experience but I feel Rice and Winks if they develop will be the perfect midfield pairing.

Trent crossing with Alli and Kane will score us a lot to goals. Sterling arriving on the back post as well

Agree with commentator though that defenders are going to start dropping in the box like attackers soon

A bit thick of him really.

Can see Tyler's point though, defender are jsut going to fake a foul every time the attaching team looks like they have a chance
it will be frustrating should VAR increase the amount of simulation instead of eradicating it

Hopefully it's something that will be accurately judged. Refs have improved in playing on when they think a player has gone down too easily, in general play that is. You can look at Vertonghen for instance who tried it away to Ajax I think it was for the first goal and it was ignored.

All I can overly conclude from these England matches is that playing with De Bruyne, Aguero and the Silvas makes players look better than they are.

Gomez and Maguire looks a natural pairing though.

Leaving Sterling and Lingard on and taking Kane off was such a poor decision

I get the feeling Southgate will be looking for another job in August next year. He has little idea about building a side to benefit his best player by a mile, as in, building it around Harry Kane. He doesn’t even have scraps to feed off.

For someone who gets forward so often, I can't believe Walker's delivery has been bad for practically his whole career.

I don’t think Southgate deserves to lose his job but I couldn’t agree more with the comment relating to how he utilises Kane.

I’m a striker and I’d be sick of receiving the ball in the final third once every three matches.
