Biggest game of the season so far and we are playing our 2nd best keeper
Vorm has done well when called upon this season ( baring the Leicester winner) but the simple fact is we stand a better chance to get to the final with lloris in goal

agree with Poch - reminds me of Mourinho with Carlo C. Same approach. You can't keep an international level keeper as back up if you don't show any trust in him. IF and it is a big IF we get past Sheffield and make the final it will be another big call for Poch.

It's ridiculous if Lloris doesn't play. Not playing 3 games in a row ? Are we selling him ? Is he injured ?

Vorm all day for me. Would send the wrong message to change keepers now. Although, if we did reach the final it would be a hard decision for Poch to make, picking which keeper he goes with.

I would prefer Hugo. shock!
But Poch is right to stick with Vorm

IMO this means Vorm plays the final as well.

It must be a gentleman's agreement, surely?

EDIT: IF we get to the final. FFS.

Agree with vorm getting games in early cup matches but not when we are one match from a cup final.
IF we do get past sheff u ? Can you imagine not playing your best player vs Chelsea or Liverpool in a cup final

The only reason we know JUST how good Lloris is, is due to how much he has been put to the test and saved us this season. How has he been put to the test and saved us? Because of our pile of shit defence. He has been put to the ultimate test and past with flying colours. Earlier rounds in the cups, we are pretty comfortable without him, however, he has proven to be invaluable to the point where we would not be comfortable if he wasn't to play in the Premier League; or in this case, in an intense semi final reply against a resilient Sheffield United. This means, it is not that we are saying Vorm is no good, it is just saying that our defence is shit and often needs to be saved. When you have a defence as shit as ours, it takes a special sort of keeper and actually, for all we know, Vorm might have passed the test in the same way as Lloris if he was our number one and we didn't have Lloris, but the fact is we don't know how he would stand up to the test, but with Lloris we have seen what he can do and as such, he is always going to be the safer option.

Vorm will be busy tonight, but not as busy as when Kaboul and Chiriches play in front of him.

Perhaps the only realistic trophy Lloris can win at Spurs.
Why should he remain with the club in the summer if he's not allowed to play when the club reach a semi or even final?
Lloris improve our chance to win considerably, but at Spurs we perhaps aren't that concerned about winning things.
Equal game time is fair after all ...

Stuff how Vorm feels if he is dropped, he is not the long term answer to being our number one having it watched him for the last couple of seasons. He struggled to get back into the Swansea team when Tremmel was playing and he is even worse.

We did this the other year in FA Cup Semi against Chelsea when Cudicin started instead of Friedel.....and look what happened. MoPo must know if we get to the final and lose with Lloris fair enough, if we get to the final and lose with Vorm in the side, there will be people asking for him to be sacked.

Sorry, not quite following you there. When does Lloris play? He plays in the Premier League. IF Vorm plays EL? He already does play EL.

Lloris has played the EL games bar the one he was suspended for and the practically dead rubber group match, so not really.

That semi final defeat to Chelsea had NOTHING to do with Cudicini in nets. It had EVERYTHING to do with Martin Atkinson who awarded Chelsea a goal when the ball didn't cross the line. Mata and the Chelsea players couldn't believe their luck. I've almost wiped that match from my memory but that decision was probably worse than the Mendes non-goal because it was a semi-final of the FA Cup.

Think Vorm would lose a lot of respect for Poch if he was dropped for a final plus I don't think he's done anything to deserve being dropped from cup games.

Vorm is a great keeper in his own right, it's just unfortunate for him he plays with one of the worlds best.

I think people are doing a disservice to Vorm and he'd put in good enough performances for us
Yeah fuck this. Lloris all the way

One of Europe's top teams at Wembley for a trophy, lloris all day no if ands or buts...vorm can start three days prior at fiorentina. I understand vorm should get time as well, but this is no time to fook around. One of the top three keepers on the planet, and our captain. We just feel more solid with his most interesting man in the world look he's got going on.
