The Vorm Dilemma

Do we play Vorm or Lloris in the Second Leg and/or Final?

Said it before tonight and I'll say it again now that we've booked our place at Wembley: Mourinho will sure as fuck play his very strongest team against us on 1st March, and if we don't reciprocate in kind then we will be doing ourselves - and the competition itself - a massive disservice.

Lloris plays. If Pochettino played Vorm in the final for any other reason than Lloris being injured/suspended, I'd be calling for Poch's head.

Another error by Vorm that nearly cost us a goal tonight. Just because he's played in goal throughout this competition does not mean that he deserves to play in the final. He's not won us any games so far, the strongest X1 has to play.

I like Vorm, but, fuck him, he's not going to be our no.1 when Lloris eventually leaves, he'll still get a medal, so we have to go all out in the final. No fucking chance that Mourinho will play Cech and he's miles better than Vorm.

Maureen dropped Cech for the semi finals and will keep Courtois for the final. Lloris must play the final. Today was hopefully Vorm's last game of the season.

I think we've got to the final despite Vorm's performances... I'm not being harsh on Vorm, I think he is a good keeper, but when we have Hugo we have to play Hugo.

Imagine if we signed Messi on deadline day.... would we play him and drop someone who got us into the final? of course we would.

Vorm is decent, and despite his recent fuck ups including early on yesterday I'd have to say Hugo is world class and no way would I leave him out. Said it before, this isn't about sentiment, we don't reach finals every year and we need to win. Playing Lloris gives us the best possible chance.

Great bravery to help prevent a goal last night and that's commendable but Lloris has to play.

Poch dropped Townsend when he's scored in our last two games, including the other leg so maybe that goes to show he's got the nads to do it

Vorm worries me. I thought he was better than he has shown in the last couple of games. Personally I prefer Friedel who is much more reliable

If we weren't playing such a strong team such as Chelsea, like teams in bottom half of table or lower leagues, I would stick with Vorm.

However, Lloris should start for me, he is brilliant

Our right back has played for England, and i'd be far more concerned about his performance than that of Vorms to be quite honest.

It's a good thread but there can only be one answer for Wembley. You play your best team. Lloris is one of the best keepers in the world. Vorm isn't.

Simple and I can't see Poch would even have to think more than a moment in his decision (unless they have done something stupid like guaranteeing Vorm the cup games in his contract).
