Hot on the heals of the orgasm, was the girl telling you she's left you for another man.

If Schneiderlin was the orgasm.... and he's gone and signed for someone else!

If McCarthy is the guy let's get a bid in for him tomorrow. It's pointless waiting around. I'm 50/50 about him but I keep remembering thinking Everton looked like utter shit without him last year. Maybe he's the type of player you only really notice how good he is when he's playing for your own team.

Don't watch enough of Everton (or Wigan previously) to know if McCarthy is all that, but you'd be surprised the amount of people who didn't rate Modric until he moved to Madrid. I had mates telling me he wasn't worth anywhere near what we got for him, only to tell me a couple of seasons later that we got ripped off.

I actually pity those mates...

Spare of thought for the scout, whoever it was who brought Schneiderlin to Southampton. Incredible bit of scouting

He was a Ligue 2 player in 2008 as a 18 year old - Bought at 1.2m by a championship club; 7 years later, coinciding with massive growth phase for the club - he is leaving now for atleast 25m.

Good luck to him. Another player who we were so close yet so far. Worst part is we will now face him in season opener.

It does show you what an uphill battle we have on our hands when Utd can spend £25m on their sixth first team CM. To go with £18m Carrick, £28m Fellaini, £30m Herrera, £20m Blind and £15m Schweinstiger.

Different world. They have probably spent more in the last three years than we have in our history...

Scary when you put it like that.

MS was never going to happen - just hope we haven't missed out on other targets as result waiting around.
Now need to be dynamic and move quick whilst there is still time pre-season and whilst there appears to be some choice.
ManU building a very decent squad having spent pots of money last couple transfer windows. Hope is that LVG cant manage them as well as AF did.

Have constant arguments with supporters of other clubs regarding Bentaleb, sometimes you only notice how good a player is when watch them weekly. Maybe there's some that watch McCarthy every week and still don't rate him but I think a lot, including myself, are judging him based on the handful of Everton games that are screened live.

Starting to get a little concerned that United are once again building a quality (albeit fucking expensive) team there. Get that defence solid and they could once again begin to rule

I certainly wasnt LOL'ing when he tore us a new arsehole at Old Trafford...

Very effective on his day. Never worth £28m but many United fans could say similar of Lamela

This, and assuming they are going 4-3-3 he's gonna have to be a CM or a ST, and I highly doubt the latter.

Sure but no reason its Davies in Aberystwyth as any other Spurs player who has friends/relatives there.
If the guys are presuming on GG he's from Aberystwyth because he's called aberyid. Swansea in Welsh is called Abertawe.

I'm guessing we already do. From the multiple ITK claiming DM was close if not already done I'm guessing MS's destination being solidified is the last domino we've been waiting for to fall. Wouldn't be surprised if we had a new DM by this time next week

UNVERIFIED ITK WOULDN'T USUALLY MAKE THE READ ONLY BUT THIS IS TASTY STUFF SO WE'RE POSTING IT FOR YOU TO DECIDE

From 'AberYid' via GG: Whored onto SC by 'Barneyboy'

"I don't especially want to reveal names but I'm fairly decent mates with a footballer in a Premier League squad.

That player had some friends around his pad last night, and I was one of them. There were 7 other well known footballers there, one of whom plays for Spurs.

We all talked and a lot of interesting things were said, but obviously I was interested in what the Spurs player knew.

So, here are some tidbits.

Lloris, Kane and Vertonghen will be our captains next season.
Nabil Bentaleb is unreal in training and is now better paid than Kane, Vertonghen, and a few other big names.
DeAndre Yedlin is actually quite good in training, but it took him 3 months or so to get used to the pace as apparently Sounders training was tinkle poor by comparison.
Stambouli wasn't actually part of a clique causing trouble. He hung out with them because he's French and Hugo is a bit insular.
Jesus Perez and Poch are a hilarious double act, and D'Agostino is a bit of a tough bounder with the players.
No-one at the club likes Kaboul, but they all respectED him hence electing him captain last season.
Everyone knows the club want Schneiderlin. This is why Dembele wants reassurances.
Soldado is an absolute beast in training and never misses. The club are desperate for him to succeed - and noone can figure out what's wrong.
Jan Vertonghen is the most popular player in the squad - the Alderweireld deal was in part to improve the club and in part to keep Vertonghen happy (he's not been happy with his CB partners)

And one of the players there is a Soton player, who said that Schneiderlin doesn't want to move to United: because he wants to play 38 games in a season, not be one of 6 or 7 top class midfielders.
He misses Pochettino and his training methods, and he wants to move to London.
The Soton player told me that Schneiderlin will be a Spurs player."

TRX RESPONDED ON COYS
Trix: TBF I believe this is probably genuine info passed on. The fact that it is just a group of young players sat round chatting means most of it will just be opinion though. The young Saints player saying MS will become a Spurs player for instance, can't possibly know what we are willing to pay, or what Saints will actually accept.

Stambouli as far as I'm aware has never been accused of causing trouble, Yedlin did not impress at all last season and that wasn't down to the pace of the game it was down to technique, and I find it difficult to believe Jan was telling people especially one of his team mates that he wasn't happy with any of his CB partners last season.

Didn't think Twitter was allowed on here?

Saw this earlier today on Twitter, and it was met with shed loads of guffawws.

Now Bastien has gone to Utd think Scneiderlain will end up at spurs. No need to worry about McCarthie

More optimism from Everton forum?

Judging by the spelling I think we've found out where BEN has been for the last six months, up a tree in the blue half of Liverpool :geek:

Surely one of those would be available for the right price? Very unlikely it would come off but I hope we'd put in a cheeky bid for Carrick, he might be well annoyed that they've brought in not one but two expensive new players for him to compete with.
