Midfield is the biggest corncern now. We want a top striker but we have plenty of time and cover at least for now for there.

I wonder of Keane is the problem. Some have suggested he has a highest earner clause. I wonder if Levy needs him gone before he can bring in a big earner, in case Keane decides to stay and pick up his "highest earner" cheque every month.

I find it hard to believe Levy would give anyone this kind of contract though, don't you ?

I'd love to say I do, I posted a few bits but got caned for it. Even though three weeks ago inwas told Modders would be told to shut up and deal with it.

ITK is passed on in good faith by some people for many different reasons, but I'm a ST, and have good friends in different places in the footballing/sports industry suit side and playing side. I think everyone should know everything no crap clues or stuff just as it it. Players hear different things by agents, coaching staff and so on, so all info if slightly different is normally the same.

He may have before he went to Liverpool, but I can't see Levy being that stupid to give it to him when he came back. The only reason we got him was cause Defoe was out for a long spell and he was quite cheap (in comparison to what we sold him for). Plus I thought Woodgate was on more than Keane?

yea he looks very impressive I read somewhere on Evening Standard that 'apparently' he chose us over Utd cause he will be involved with the first team squad straight away which convinced him he will get more of a chance to play than at United.

Roman Pavlyuchenko has no plans to leave Tottenham and is keen to extend his contract at White Hart Lane, according to his agent.

The Russia international has struggled at times for regular first-team starts due to Harry Redknapp's attacking options.

Pavlyuchenko has to compete with Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch for a berth in the XI with Rafael van der Vaart often employed in a forward role.
