In response to the Sun Journo Charlie Whiting saying on Talksport earlier that we were struggling with targets because we won't pay the wages i.e. for Ings

I am personally happy we never signed Ings. However, it is nonsense what the guy is saying. As far as I am aware, which may not be a lot, we matched everything and as well known via media offered larger fee.

If we have lost targets it is for other factors. We are not a top four team playing in the CL. I am still confident that overall we will bring in quality overall. Told we have an extensive list and confident. Again told DM sorted. Does not mean will be announce
d shortly. I take it that they are very confident.

Any idea why we're waiting? Possibly waiting for sales first?

His time at MK Dons gives him much more experience then your typical 19 year old. He's ready to step up now, probably much more ready than Bentaleb was when Tim chucked him in the deep end. He's going to get plenty of games starting out in the Europa/Cup side.
I think people who haven't seen much of him are in for a treat. No wonder we're happy to ship out so many CM's whilst only bringing one new one in.

In response to "Willi Alli be in the reckoning for the first team squad?"

That is a certainty. The noises are he has been shockingly brilliant, and not just good.

A guarantee of Pritch's involvement and I would be immensely excited about the upcoming season. Making me a bit nervous that we've seen Alli promised remaining with the first team and not Pritchard. Hoping that his contract extension is indication of a possible guarantee.

To me it sounds like a case of we know for sure we can get plan B, but are waiting to finalize it only if we don't get plan A kind of deal.

Pritchard has been moved into the first team squad with Alli on the official website at least. That offers some sort of confirmation.

I don't suppose Poch has seen much of Pritchard pre season due to his injury.

Pochettino has already confirmed it.

Could it be possible were going to buy 2 central midfielders and loan Alli out still? I know hes apparently been brilliant in training but would playing every game benefit him more?

IMO Alli will be one of our core 4 - Bentaleb, Mason, Alli + Suarez/McCarthy/Rabiot.

Dembele has already been replaced by Alli and Pritchard, and the incomer will be Stambouli's replacement

Can I just say Charlie Wyatt hates Spurs never anything positive ever from him any opportunity to stick the boot in he will. Plus he is a Gooner. None of his stories ever have any credence.

Pritchard said Poch phoned him after every Brentford match last season. He's clearly been watching him closely.

I meant he wouldn't have seen him this pre season as he is still injured from the EuroU21's so hasn't been training with the rest of the squad.

But he could probably start in a lower league prem club if hes "ready" I'd sooner see him play regular for a watford say and then next season he'll be starting maybe with Bentaleb?

Somewhat, yes, but it's been done plenty of times where players are listed in that squad and depart anyway be it on loan or sale.

Good point.

Pochettino has already confirmed it.

Excellent, thanks!

with all the jasper bits i compiled into a nice text file already posted ive only got these bits

ali z on dembele rumours: They woiud only sell him if they had a good price and somebody lined up.

kyle e on coys re ua etc: Text from a friend of mine who owns a soccer shop here in the States, showed me the away shirt before it was public as his store got it along with an order of home shirts:
"So UA is in scramble mode... those away shirts they sent out really pissed Spurs off. The screw up, which was entirely the fault of UA's shipping department, actually made THFC release the kit on their website earlier than they wanted. Would not be surprised to see your boys in a swoosh or something else next season..."
