If we sign Moses I will donate £50. Don't know where these stories are coming from. Let me not be proven wrong.

Guarantee the Moses stuff is coming from the fact that he is a Mondial player. Mondial loves using us as a dinner bell that they can ring for their players to attract other teams to make a move.

For what it's worth I was watching Stoke vs Everton in the Barclays Asia Trophy on Wednesday and the suggestions were that Moses has told Stoke he doesn't want to play for them and instructed his agent to find him a London club. So highly likely these stories are agent generated.

Agents certainly seem to enjoy using us to bring publicity to their clients.
Fine by me. It means we have something to think about and discuss as well as providing smokescreens for our real signings.
Moses would be a good player, but I don't really see him as a massive upgrade on Andros, his possible striker role aside.

Moses has a lot more chance of showing his promise than Andross. As a squad player fair enough upgrade for me

£8M spend on Moses and £15m income from Townsend is an excellent bit of business IMO.

We keep a home grown player in the squad and frankly i think we've got a slightly better player plus £7m in the bank.

Moses is a risk...

For a while he looked like he could become a great player, but his transfers seemed to stunt his growth. His goal return for Stoke is average. It might be interesting to see what he could do playing consistently in a side with a flair players around him, but he's a risk. Not really someone who I can see pushing us up a gear.

Barely improves us, isn't a Spurs lad like Andros, doubt that £7m extra would go towards signing someone who'd make a real difference, but apart from that yay! And all good for the net spend.

Unfortunately the scenario you have laid out is purely an economic transfer, nothing to do with any sporting ambitions for our team. Chelsea would probably gladly sell us Moses, shows that we're no threat.

We have far more pressing concerns. We already have chadli, townsend, lamella, pritchard, yedlin and lennon to cover the wide areas. We need a striker who will turn up and can score. At the moment if kane gets injured we will struggle to get mid table.

for me Moses is not the type of player you move for in mid-July.....Moses is the type of player you grab when the window is closing and ALL alternative options have been exhausted.

You know what you are getting in Moses....guy with great physical ability that hasn't been able to kick on to anything of note who will be, for the most part, disappointing and frustrating with occasional flashes of brilliance.

He isn't a clear, cut and dry upgrade on any player we have and his flaws are significant. If we got to the end of the window and we were completely unable to to find a winger or had a group of long term injuries and still needed someone with some pace then Moses as a last ditch option may be viable.

But, we aren't at the end of the window and (from the ITK) we haven't exhausted our options yet so there would be no reason to move for him now.

Based on what ?? Your hate for townsend? I dont prentend to be a big fan of andros but at 24 moses have achieved sweet fa.whilst having more opportunities in the prem.some people just crave new signings even if they are more cack we will be struggling to shift this time next season.
