brad was still decent last season when he played, not really sure what the point is if it's going to cost us.
Because we can't expect Brad to continue until he's 50?

Who's the other capable keeper aside from Vorm? That'd be fantastic. Makes so much sense for Friedel as well. And, should Lloris go down with injury (God forbid), we've still got 2 capable GKs to see us through that time.

who said we could?
Jesus man lol, he's a better keeper than Friedel at 43 years old or whatever he is...not least because he's far more suitable to play that sweeping role.
That's why it make imminent sense.
Surprised Vorm would come just to sit on the bench, maybe we'll be loaning him back out. I hope we haven't just accepted that Hugo will be off next summer so we're already getting his replacement...
Edit: Didn't realise how old Vorm was, thought he was mid-20's!
paying 5m for a backup keeper when we already have one doesn't make "imminent" sense.
Our back up keeper is on his last legs... This is the perfect time to bring someone in. £5m for a international GK with Prem experience is a bargain!paying 5m for a backup keeper when we already have one doesn't make "imminent" sense.

No but it means that we're not running around like idiots next season looking for one when Brad finally hangs up his glovespaying 5m for a backup keeper when we already have one doesn't make "imminent" sense.
