The 2 against Chelsea was in their last away match of the season when Chelsea had wrapped up the title and were already on the beach. They also had Fabregas sent off in the 29th minute. Of those 4 goals you quote 2 were penalties and apart from the penalty against Liverpool all were at home. So yeah ... flat track bully.

Sounds like a theory, however unless MOURINHO had a once in a life brain fade, when has anyone known him to let his team take an early mental holiday?
Even if he had had that brain fade what's he chances of John Terry having one at the exact same time?
Nah

If the "magnificent 7" from 2 years ago taught us anything it's that signing players with no EPL experience is a lottery.

Berahino is young, a completely different option to Kane, and showed last year he can perform in the EPL. If he is behind targets like Werner then personally I don't understand it. If we are able to - sign him up now!

Every signing is a risk. Bent, Bentley, Davies, Etherington, Jenas and many more say hi!!!

Already covered this on the last page.

What exactly were West Brom playing for in that game then? Surely they were just as much on their holidays as Chelsea. You might ultimately be right about Berahino but that point you make holds no water, shall we knock Kane's last goal against Everton off his total because they weren't really trying that hard???

Berahino makes most sense because out njie timo bera etc there all decent wing/forward position but if Kane injured only one would suit the spear head roll and that's berahinho and definitely NOT chadli

I'm not so sure. Berahino's hold up skills are pretty poor. He's good at running in behind, which we really need, but a spearhead striker in our system needs to be good at holding up too.

Just realised i've been jabbering away about Berahino in the ITK thread. Thought I was in the player thread :banghead:. Just have to hope @Archibald&Crooks got lucky tonight and emptied his sack of sacs I suppose :cautious:.

I would be happy with any of the players we have been linked to by ITK..... Bar Moses.

And with the pending sales of ade and Bobby, i assume we will be signing two or berahino njie or werner.

I would be happy with this!!

I get your point but my point is more on why is he supposedly lower on the list than Werner? EPL experience presents "less" of a risk. Our record signing striker Soldado says hi as well :)

Lads, lads, lads... just admit it.
Nobody knows if he'd work out or not.
Just like Darren Bent before him.

Poor old Bent. 25 goals for us in two seasons is ok in my book considering he was competing with Berba, Keane, Pav and Defoe for large parts of his time with us.

It was that miss that Harry's missus Sandra would have taken that did for him.
