Having been linked with Doria as CD and Bernard as AM, wonder if this Croatian duo are being viewed as a cheaper more gettable alternative. Suspect, in agreement with others, the Croats may be signed now with a view to joining later on.

As for the fourth, I just do not know, but potentially another CM if Livermore, Hudd and Parker are all loaned and sold respectively.

Possibly filling a couple of those roles, Emre Can (def/mid) and Deulofeu (mid/fwd) were linked, though I'm not sure whether that was ITK or media guesswork, with loans or potentially purchased with a buyback clause.

Well, he's just being honest. He's also being highly contradictory, as he follows that with 'was told a week ago', by which he presumably means the Croats, so therefore he did know about them. That makes the rather large assumption that BEN has stumbled across grammatical logic at long last. Is he saying he doesn't know about the reported deal, then? Buggered if I know.

As I said, I've made the rather large assumption that he's stumbled across grammatical logic. He could have been told about the Brazilian deal a week ago, but then reports about Paulinho have been circulating for at least a fortnight, so this is entirely underwhelming.

But really, compared to his salad days of six-seven years ago, when no window was complete without half-a-dozen daily communiques from him, all more or less incomprehensible, he posts very little now, and this latest tells us chuff all we haven't heard already from other sources.
