Why didn't he play then???Well Jonathan Pierce seemed to think we have ended our interest in Berahino if you heard his intro on motd last night.
For UK transfers anyway. Think it's tomorrow for international transfers.Deadline day is Tuesday, 6pm close

I'd be 68 in another 2 weeks.
I'm 69 next Thursday, will I be alive long enough to see us win the title for the third time?
You can get medication to help with that...anxiety
Why would Son end our interest in Berahino? He is a striker which we badly need, Son isn't a striker.I think that deadline (which was also agreed on by his agents IIRC) increasingly looks like events since it was set have forced a rethink, at very least that deadline was posturing. Personally I think we get him or we don't, there's no alternative on the cards and the only deadline left in the one everyone else is working to.
Of course, after Jeremy Peace went to War (hehe), the Son stuff happened pretty quickly didn't it? Its also possible that signing Son signalled the end of our interest in Berahino.
Time will tell.

His heads not straight. Why didn't he play then???
I have no idea but it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that we bought one type of player instead of the other. Like I said, maybe, maybe not. We'll see.Why would Son end our interest in Berahino? He is a striker which we badly need, Son isn't a striker.

Correct me if I am wrong, but haven't we had ITK saying that Son was not brought in as a striker, so effectively we are still looking for one?I have no idea but it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that we bought one instead of the other. Like I said, maybe, maybe not. We'll see.
A poster on COYS saying that he met ossie ardiles who says lamela is leaving for 20 million.
I wouldn't have posted this over except for the Argentinian connection. You'd think that if anyone might know it would be ossie.

I suppose so. Son will compete with Chadli. Pritchard will replace Lamela, should he leave. N'Jie will be third striker, bought on potential.Correct me if I am wrong, but haven't we had ITK saying that Son was not brought in as a striker, so effectively we are still looking for one?
