I think berahino is a very smart signing and having him be able to play wf with Kane or up front on his own will breathe a lot of new life into our attack. Hope we can add one more on top of that though.

I notice that Cambiasso has signed for Olimpiakos today so that's another DM down.

Great news, hope we celebrate it with a win at OT. and the icing on the cake of seeing Werner there as well.

you need to fix your predictive text! 2nd thread it has put 'honk' in by mistake. You must write that a lot :D
Nah my phone just knows I'm an idiot and don't think at all so it just assumes I must mean another word.

I really hope so, although I can't help but feel our interest in N'jie intensified around the time those rumours of Werner not wanting to leave Stuttgart appeared. Would still love to get him but can't see us getting those two and Bera.

I think we might go for both and then loan Werner back for the season.

On Werner watch at OT though

When their post hits your eye
And you think you will die
That's a rumour
When the world seems so fine
Cos the eyeteekay's shine
That's a rumour

Bells'll ring
Ting-a-ling-a-ling
Ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "World Class Signing"
Hearts'll play
Tippi-tippi-tay
Tippi-tippi-tay
We all play 'guess the fella'
This is your best so far this summer.

Kind of falling into line
No18 (Berahino's squad No. at WBA) left vacant.
West Brom bringing in Gnabry, Lambert and now Rondon.
And now ITK (not usually sensationalist) stating 100% happening

Be interested to see the other 2 incomings of the repeatedly suggested 3.

Werner was strongly ITK suggested as supposed to be at today's game ahead of signing, but all the ITK and media speculation seems to have moved away from him and towards Njie close to being wrapped up. I'd think it'll be one or the other, not both.

DM, targets seem to have gone away, or rumours dried up at least. I'd like it to be Illarramendi, no outright recent ITK links, but plenty of speculation off the back of ITK stating there was a previously unnamed CM, or one they couldn't divulge a name due to sensitivity of the move. Real openly made him available. ITK suggested this 'unnamed' player would go to late in the window as he assesses his options. Could be fluke, but this theme of a new CM surfaced around, or very soon after, the Audi cup tie. Coincidence? No media links since March time, so would add up as coming out of left field. Ignacio Camacho could fit the bill to a lesser extent, and I'm sure one of our new scouts was on the technical staff at Malaga previously.

No Soldado today.... Add that to the bit of random ITK (often the best) in the Daily ITK thread last night, and Soldado looks off.
Soldado out, Lennon and Ade, who knows.
Berahino, plus one of Njie/Werner in, and a CM upgrade. This will have been a great summer. See how the Fazio situation plays out, suggestions previously he may be off of a bid comes in. I think we'll be in pretty good shape.

To be fair, there's probably some truth in Soldado having a bit of a knock. I think we would have put him on the bench even if something might be in the works, just to have another striker available. As it stands, Chadli and Lamela are the only ones who could go up there in the second half if needed and that's not really ideal.

Come on Levy, a few options up from and a couple in midfield, attacking and defensive.
