Anyone see Werner with Alan Dixon then?

Saw Dixon get off the coach first so he was definitely at the game. No idea about Werner though. Hopefully he was. Any new players in attack would be appreciated.

He would actually stretch the pitch and create more room for our more subtle attacking players to operate in

I think the whole "stretch" thing is a little overplayed and not totally accurate. What I think Berahino can do is be a reliable option for hanging on a defender's shoulder for throughballs. Chadli, Kane, and Eriksen all tend to want to float more into the middle of the pitch and away from the CBs with their back to goal so they can receive it and turn with it. They will hang on a defender's shoulder occasionally, but with Berahino you can often rely on him to be there (and rely on him to have the pace to pull away as well) and sometimes being a little predictable helps. How many times have you seen us misplace passes because the passer thought the recipient wanted it in space when he really expected/wanted it at his feet?

Hopefully we receive some more positive Berahino ITK as the weekend goes on. I have to think with Ghostofarmo's positivity it means the deal is well along.

Yeah, the idiotic notion that we time our signings to coincide with certain results/kit releases/Mercury being in retrograde is as irritating to me as the people who persist with the notion that we have terrible starts to the season... You knobber.

Because the ITK said Werner was going to be at the match today, so Dixon would have been the person accompanying him.

Do you know Allan ? I didn't know he was related, never mentioned that part I think once brad leaves people will notice him more as they look a like.
