I thought that perhaps a reason why it has been so quiet could be attributed to our main targets being at the Olympics and with those obligations it can hinder the progress of transfers.

i was thinking this too. it can't hurt. he's probably having fun with the brazil boys, and it's a great time to be in London. It's pretty likely that he'll have fond impression of the city both consciously and subconsciously.

i say that, but if he's homesick, then we're fucked.

He hasnt dismissed merely stated that he is happy in Brazil, he basically isn't going to be a shit to inter to come to us and why should he?

As I have stated before he isn't too fussed about about moving away from inter because he know that the NT coach can watch him every week in Brazil

right, agree. that was what i was trying to infer. There is a big difference between 'snubbing' us and just being professional.

must consider that there is more and more money in brazilian football now. easier to make good money, less pressure to move to europe. and it's very true, that the national team is biased towards the players that the public and press see day in day out in the Brazilian domestic league. More and more we see young brazilians completing development in brazil before moving on.. it makes a lot of sense now they have access to money to concentrate on developing before up-routing to a very different continent.

I'd like Leandro but his spell in the shop window is probably putting his price up.
Look at the prices/potential wages of the desirable players in that Brazil team that play around him too: Neymar, Oscar, Hulk, Ganso, Pato, Moura, and he's the guy that puts them in the net!

Would be such a scoop to get any attacker out of that Brazil side and the signing that AVB could hang his hat on.
