Hearing a few drum beats out of the San Jose area (i.e. Earthquakes territory) that Walcott is on his way out of the other lot and looking to stay in London. Not overtly strong relative to some of the other stories that have leaked out here but interesting... not sure that with some of the players we have its a name we need but none the less interesting...

Not for me, I don't really see him as an upgrade on Lennon.

Quick feet but his footballing brain is severely lacking. I'd rather have Lennon any day of the week.

No thank you. We've already got Aaron Lennon for what Theo can do. We could do with someone a bit different, someone with a bit of skills.

I might completely buck the trend here, but I don't think I'd mind him here (if wages were not too much), assuming that AVB wants to play the 4-3-3 then he'd fit in very well. Plus, AVB seems to give his players very specific instruction as to how he wants them to play, if Walcott knew exactly what his job in the team was I think he could flourish.

Be a useful squad addition if we kept Lennon, could rotate them depending on the opposition, Lennon offering more as a winger, Walcott offering more as an inside forward sort of role.

Of course, if he doesn't play the 4-3-3 then...:p

What is it with Arsenal and letting player's run their contracts down?

Simple, they're fucking mugs! ;)

That's why it's better we sell Modric this summer really. He wants out, we know that so this summer we can still get a maximum return for him, wait till next season or the one after and we'll be lucky to get half what we'll get this summer.

I've had massive hatred for this little **** ever since he scored using his hand against us in the CC semi-final and went off wheeling away in celebration like he'd just won Arsenal the league title.

****!

When people compare Theo to Lennon they are mis guided, as Theo is a Striker. He has made this point himself time and time again, but Wenger has stuck him on the wing since he arrived at Arsenal.
Im not his biggest fan to say the least, but one attribute he does have is composure to finish when in on goal (he has done it to us enough times!)

With regards to him joining us, doubt he would and id rather we looked elsewhere as even with 1yr left he will cost more then a player overseas would with alot more technical abilities. Lets have a look at the talent that turns out for the Spain Olympic team for example.

Heard Chelsea are interested, would be funny if Arsenal lost Walcott and RVP. Just Song and Wilshire left then, hopefully City fancy them both to warm the bench:ROFLMAO:

I'd happily take him. If AVB can develop his game then I can see him being an asset...especially at the end of the game - certainly wouldn't fancy Bale, Lennon and Walcott flying at you. But agree with the people that he should play central...would be an interesting addition anyway.
