The "new" Del Piero is on to play alongside the "old" one. Giovinco, have heard great things about this kid. He's so small, makes Modric look like a monster

Haha yeah hes pretty small. Not sure why they took Iaquinta off...was doing ok in my opinion.

Oooo good save.

Edit. infact it was straight at him...not quite as good as i first thought.

We could do worse than sign Iaquinta, good target man. Have always rated him. Can't see him leaving to come to us though.

Chiellini off, game over.

Maybe not, penalty to Juventus? No-one seems to know.

Yep, 2-1 good last 15 mins coming up.

God Terry is a such a cock.

Fairly obvious penalty....god knows why he put his hands up there.

Giovinco is class! Juve have looked much more of a threat since he came on, he's so tricky the Chelsea players don't know how to deal with him!

Meh, it all counts for nothing. Chelsea level through Drogba.

Shit...missed both goals. Who scored and were they any good?

Juve's was just a penalty.

Chelsea's was quite a nice move and a decent finish.

A draw on the night is probably fair due to Juve dominating the first half and Chelsea being in control for most of the 2nd.

Gotta enjoy seeing Real get spanked like that

Liverpool were worth every single goal too. I don't think I've ever seen them play this well. If they had this attitute in some of the league games they might've been up there with Man U points-wise. Let's hope they can do the Mancs at the weekend just to make the title race a little bit more interesting (I still think and sort of hope that United win anyway, but just for excitements sake)

Liverpool were excellent (especially Gerrard), Chelsea were decent and both deserved to go through.

Cant belive that first goal by Chelsea wasn't given, it was cleary over the line. No quite Mendes distance but by a fair bit!

the 'pool dominated a really slack Madrid side - their defence was woefully off the pace, their midfield was just looking lazy and Raul and the unpronouncable bloke just couldn't stop tripping over each other. The only two exceptions were Diarra, who was really getting stuck in, and Sneijder, who was finding tons of space but just seemed to get no support when on the ball.

The reds totally deserved that, and the scorelines not flattering, Gerrard was on fire but the whole team looked so well drilled. Will be great game against United if they play like that

Bayern whipped Sporting 7-1, 12-1 on Aggregate.

What an embarrasment.

No, you're right, we have to go back a couple more months for the 4-1 home tonking by newcastle.
