Seem's like quite a few Spurs fans could not wait till Ramos lost a few games and then they could spout there BS about "I told you he was shit". Laughable to say the least!

I was just waiting for his first big test - he got humiliated and no, I'm not surprised.

What a bit like Redknapp did in the 2nd leg of the semi against Burnley...?

Let me guess, it was'nt Redknapps team and he was making the best of what he had to work with right....? Is this Ramos's Madrid team? He only bought 1 player (Diarra) who has been an absolute revelation at Madrid and loaned a squad player (Faubert). KJH was bought before he arrived. Like Redknapp he's making do with what he has, unlike Redknapp he did not have close on to £50m to spend in Jan!

nah, we wee slack - because we'd already trounced burnley 4-1, motivation appeared to be an issue.

the same can't be said for real and liverpool if I'm not mistaken, they got beaten at home didnt they? whereas we scored 2 goals at burnley and went through 6-4. Is that right? or am I not remembering something?

Bayern whipped Sporting 7-1, 12-1 on Aggregate.

What an embarrasment.

That must be one of the biggest aggregate wins in the CL. Klinsmann doing come good work (in the CL anyway). Surprised people don't mention him when they talk about replacements for Harry.

Was Velosso playing? Didn't protect the back 4 that well, did he.

But they're only 3rd in the league. That's not good for by far the biggest and richest club in Germany.

I think 12-1 over two legs says more about the losing side than the winning side.

Apparently, he was playing at left back. Always thought he was rubbish anyways.

BTW, if Klinsmann comes to Spurs it will be for nothing more than to please the fans

They're only clueless idiots so don't mind them. Just think about that these are people with their tounges miles up the ass on someone like Redknapp, a manager that they laughed at back in september......can you take people like that seriously. Of course not

You can definitely take the guys seriously who tongue Ramos after his dismal performance here - they're the ones who are hell bent on big names.

It always takes time to get your message thru......and many times it gets worse before the success comes.

We obviously learned that there are many cry babies and asslickers in the team that seemed afraid of anything different. Even that takes time to get right...maybe 3 or 4 transferwindows.

I really do not think we could afford to wait that long.

If we were say - mid table but still underperforming maybe but rock bottom with 2 points from 8 games (forgive me for my redknapp-esq quote here) is/was absolutely terrifying.

Redknapp came in and if nothing else gave us the 'new manager lift' that a lot of teams get. That was important because it enabled us to get a draw at Arsenal and beat Liverpool. Chances are our heads might still have been down for both of those games had change not happened. and no wins in 11 would've been almost impossible to recover from without change.

Not much to argue about really but......there's always a "but"

Maybe once it has to cost very much to get the BIG lift......otherwise the alternative might be midtable for eternity. I'm not saying that it would have happened right now or with Ramos. But sometime someone has to be given the chance to really set his tone, get his players (doesn't happen fast if it isn't chelski), etc.
