To play games I guess, with Bayern having signed 2 new strikers and being 5th choice behind the likes of Ribery, Robben, Shaqiri and Kroos as well as Mandzukic who also plays on the wings, his options are limited and could get worse if anyone gets promoted from bayern munich B

If he don't play he won't in the Germany team which considering the scary amount of quality they have, I think he may not even play for germany even if he does play with him competing with 11 players for 3 spots in the starting lineup with these players Reus, Goetze, Draxler, Holtby, Shurrle, Kroos, Ozil, Marin, Lietner, Herrmann and Podolski in the next few years. I think he may want to be a striker to be in the germany team

A striker? I have always seen him as an attacking midfielder though you could be right about his playing time being limited at Bayern. If Tottenham pulled off a signing of Muller's pedigree retain or equal Modric's quality within the team Van De Vaarts ablities of being a match winnner we have a great chance for the title...but don't tell anyone.
