All of the three players mentioned have redeeming features (although Givet's is very much taken on trust as every time I've caught glimpses of him he's giving away penalties or getting flustered) but are they three players who could improve us ? Are they three players who are better than what we have already ?

No

If the title of the thread was "three players who could possibly add depth to our squad if they were prepared to play reserve football most of the time" then the answer would be an emphatic maybe.

I think C.Cole seems to be underrated in this thread, he would add a lot to our attack, would also allow us to play 1 upfront when needed.

As for the other 2, no thanks.

I think your right, he gave Ledley a torrid game when we beat them 2-1 this season, the problem is he wastes some simple chances...

Dejan Lovren, Sandro Ranieri and Ola Toivonen

I'd prefer Neven Subotic in defence, and Edin Dzeko or a return
of Dimitar Berbatov up front, but fear that would be unrealistic.

I agree with Bus Conductor. The 3 players mentioned will give us more depth with only limited impact on the starting 11. They aren't enough of an improvement on what we have.

Carlton Cole is not better than Crouch. Different but in the same class.
I'm not sure Scott Parker is better than Jenas.
Givet is defintely not an improvement on BAE.

NO to all of them! Sorry but what a waste of money on all of them...parker? He has not even exactly led the team to any great position in the table has he? and Carlton Cole? We may aswel get Acimovic and Postiga back....

What a waste of money - Spammers are skint so why would Levy pay them £25m ?
Parker is worth £5m at most and Cole maybe £8 or £9.

Both would be squad players anyway

3 players that would improve Tottenham are

Messi
Xavi
Abidal

Thanks and good night

Disco Benny has a wicked cross on him. Especially when he crosses early. If JJ was more aggressive he'd be charging the box when BAE got the ball out wide in the opposition half. We need more heads in the box for our crosses.

foster is shit??????????you obviously werent at Wembley last year....and lets not above our f**kin station....a player touted as a future England No.1 isnt good enough to warm our bench....so who do you suggest mate???maybe Cech as no.2 and maybe Reina could come as our no.3

Foster is good enough to be our reserve keeper, but he won't leave Utd to sit on a different teams bench.

I've yet to hear a good candidate for us to sign as keeper cover this month. If Joe Lewis wants to come then great, but he'd be mad to.

Realistically - Upson, Sandro and RVBN would improve the squad, with expereince (in the case of RVN and Upson) and quality.

I really don't think there are many players we can realsitically sign right now, who are going to easily walk into the starting 11.

Foster has been woeful this season. He had his chance to establish himself as VDS' replacement this year and has failed in dramatic fashion, to the point where he is now behind the very shit Kuczak.

we seem to be not sure on foster...some say why would he come to us if hes that good, while others say hes shite..all keepers have dodgy spells..if he was on top form we wouldnt be having this discussion as he would be fergies no.1...he has shown in periods that he can be atop keeper...and when you get a no.2 in,he has most likely somthing to prove...unless your manc city who will pay a no.2 top dollar and he will sit on the bench.i cant believe we think foster isnt good enough to be our no.2
