Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed midfielder Tom Huddlestone requires another operation on his injured ankle.
The 24-year-old has not played since featuring as a substitute in the 5-1 defeat to Manchester Cityat White Hart Lane at the end of August.
And Redknapp has confirmed Huddlestoneis now set to be unavailable for a lengthy period of time due to surgery on the ankle problem.
The Spurs boss said ahead of Thursday's Europa League match against Shamrock Rovers: "He needs another operation.
"He's already had one but there is still a problem with him. It's a blow. He will be out for a while."
