I genuinely thought this would be interesting to people seems not, it's made a huge splash across twitter anyway and caused loads of the bullshit itk's to account for themselves which has been quite funny.

Ah, oh well. This thread is kinda pointless then. I was just going to give my whole take on the phenomenon in response to the article. But it's probably best kept off board if it's a total no-go area.

I did say I don't consider our own ITK people in this, they just talk about Spurs. I think it's mainly aimed at the twitter guys who just want followers and the news sites that want clicks. There's even an itk website run by some of these clowns now which has ad's and generates money!

Before the internet we relied on the mainstream media for most of our transfer rumour news. I mostly laughed at the likes of The Sun and would read it not believing a word. We could work out what were good sources and what weren't.

Some of the early ITK sounded pretty genuine. I could believe people knew someone within the club and could get good info.

No doubt there are a huge amount of troll ITKs out there but like the media you can find some genuine ones that have good info.

I remember telling my mate, an avid Arsenal fan, that we'd signed Klinsmann and he wouldn't believe me. He was a bit put out when he realised it was true.

I always love the fallout and group banter around ITK. The mods on here do a hell of a lot of work to validate and filter out half of the rubbish from wind up merchants.

ITK is something that by it's nature can never be 100% solid as circumstances are always changing but I like to hear what sort of deals the club are trying to pull off. people just need to calm down and treat it for what it is a 'heads-up' rather than 'this is happening'

Fewer and fewer are truly ITK these days and even they seem to be being used more and more by the club to get certain messages out.

Seems to me the club has more or less plugged all the leaks and the leaks that do happen are OK with the club.
