Do they still refer to us as the Tottenham "Hot Spurs" over there?

I'm sure the excellent NY Spurs supporters are thrilled :D
What bar/pub are they meeting at these days. I watched a game at an outrageously early hour with them back in about '06 I think. Were they even official back then. I only knew of them due a Uni buddy being a part of the group.

We are getting better coverage than anywhere else in the world, even the UK.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...premier-league-package-for-the-2013-14-season

and no need to subscribe to FSC+ anymore for $15 a month for two standard def games a weekend

I put on FSC to watch SSN last week and realized they basically only show CL repeats and "Gold Cup Classics" now, since that's pretty much all Fox has the rights for anymore. That and the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, sadly, when they will inflict Gus Johnson back on us.

Ha! Nope! It's interesting, but 3 years ago I went to the Spurs - Red Bulls game and the stadium was maybe 2/3 full with a mix of Spurs supporters, Red Bulls supporters and Arsenal supporters because Henry was making his debut. I went again last year and there were many, many more Spurs fans and on the train ride home there was a lot of singing and holding up of scarves and so on. The change was remarkable. It used to be here in the States you only saw fans of the Sky 4 and even they were kind of an exotic species, but Tottenham is well known and growing in stature. As an American supporter who wants there to be a lot of other American supporters, Gareth Bale has taken the world by storm at just the perfect time.

Depends on the outfit. Mistakes are made at times. But those who have found the game tend to correct their mistakes quickly.

I'm not exactly sure when they became 'official', but the group has grown considerably in recent years as you might imagine. The main meeting point is O'Caseys, which is about 10 minute walk from Times Sq, and a couple blocks from Grand Central station. There is also a separate pub for weekday games, which is in a neighborhood near Times Sq.

I moved away from NY since they moved from their old spot in Brooklyn (dispute with management) to the O'Caseys location, but I imagine the new central spot has only helped the club grow.

I went to the game later that week against Sporting Lisbon and a bunch of the spurs fans also stuck around to boo Adebayor and Henry in the Manchester City/Red Bulls game that came after it haha

Fucking hell! I'll have to move back Stateside with that kind of coverage. I'll stop reading books without pictures and throw out every atlas I own immediately! I want to fit in after all.

You must also agree to pre-purchase a gun from a Walmart and agree to ignore all political matters outside of the US.

Sweet. They were still in Brooklyn (Floyd's I think from my hung-over memory) when I met up with them. Great to hear they're still going and stronger than ever.

Will do. In fact I'm buying a gun for each room of my massively oversized suburban house. I'm also browsing particularly offensive bumper stickers as we speak. Undecided whether it will religiously or politically insensitive as of yet. Maybe one that combines both would be best.

I've ordered a meal the size to satisfy a military company (I didn't supersize it) to get into the mood properly.

Also, I have my dentist appointment all lined up. Get rid of these disgustingly crooked, mangled and yellowed stumps that pass for my gnashers currently. My teeth are going to be so fucking big and white, I'll be elected president by my second week there.
