Not that I care about the money (I’d rather keep the player) but if VvD is worth £75m, then how much is Toby worth?

I would be gutted to lose him but he’s 29 in March and if someone offers £100M then levy would have to seriously consider it. I’m basing that figure on the VVD fee btw so may be a bit toppy.

Truly, whatever will happen with Mr. T, there is no point in selling now even to maximise fees. We are still in a major euro tournament, a major domestic tournament and top 4 race. Whatever extra fee we could fetch will be outweighed by loss in placement and tournament bonuses.

As I said in my original post this should all have been sorted out in the summer. People on here were way too sanguine believing all the Levy hype.

Well, no. You stated you could see no reason why his contract extension hadn't been sorted and assumed it was the fault of Levy.

Whose fault is it then ? Toby was quoted as saying he was waiting for the club to approach him to make an offer.

He’s as good as gone imo, been clear for a while, I said when the bit about him wanting a release clause came out it just sounded like an excuse to not sign a new contract
