The club understands that Tom isn't good enough thats why we bought Dele. I would really like to see Roberto in spurs tho
ok but don't five times eh? I rate carroll for his passing and his hair which is brilliant. He may make it but the chance is less than 10 % I also believe that the club will go for Sergi Roberto in the summer
Barca will sell him and he was linked with stoke. He isn't that good imoWe're not going for Roberto, guy. No chance Barcelona lets him go anywhere, and that would directly contradict us buying Alli.
I agree though, Carroll does have lovely hair.
Now that Ki is back, they have Cork in, and don't look likely to be able to purchase Carroll, I don't think his playing time prospects look good from here out. It's good he managed to see a good amount of time before it though, and does appear to have gained in confidence considerably.
Sweet chub.
He cant be recalled unfortunately and Im not sure his loan couldn't be terminated either.Player of the month, but not even on the bench. Is he injured? Given Swans woeful couple of games in which he didn't feature I thought he might start today. Clearly Swansea looking to the future, and Cork and other permanents will take precedence.
We should have got him back....he would have given a better shift the other night than Paulinho.

No, I'd forgotten that rule. Just read it again on the FA site. The way I read it, Tom C can be recalled by Spurs, with Swanseas agreement, but cant represent Spurs again this season. Have to see how it develops, there may come a point, for everyones sake, that he'd be better of training with Spurs than with Swansea, particularly nearer the end of the season, and particularly as he is likely to be absent in June and possibly July at the U21 finals. If he is to have a future with Spurs it will be down to Poch and the coaches and they will need as much time with him as possible. The fact he wasn't permanently transferred must be a positive sign for Tom.Yeah, unfortunately inter-Prem loanees cannot be recalled. But the situation isn't good, as they are clearly looking towards the future and as it seems we told them they couldn't have him, they bought Cork and so now have the position filled. Between Gylfi and Britton now returning to fitness, I think playing time for Carroll will be very bleak from here out.
On the bright side, the mission of the loan has turned out to be a success IMO. The point of it from my view was for him to establish in his own mind that he's capable of performing on a Prem level and to consequently establish confidence, and he's done that, and was even recognized by Swansea's sponsor officially for that. He now has tangible proof beyond the words of others that he is more than capable of handling this level, which is perfect as so many at both Spurs and Swans have identified his lack of confidence as his greatest inhibitory factor.
He made some plays last month that were very much against the grain of belief about him that he's too sideways and safe with his passing. He made some dynamic plays with the ball at his feet taking advantage of his low center of gravity to get the ball into dangerous positions. That's the kind of midfielder we lack, so if he can push on and maintain that confidence I think he can be a very valuable player for us next term.
