That Danny B guy is a muppet who knew exactly what he was doing. But that doesn't excuse the racist shit. I'd be fucking ashamed if I was a Newcastle fan.

And I'm sick n tired of those Northern fuckwits confusing ground capacity with fanbase. They have barely a single fan outside of the North East. Not only Spurs, but over half the premiership has more fans then them.

Well in reality non spurs fans see Newcastle as the bigger club. They see their stadium, plus their recent results in the EPL as justification for their opinions. They do not see us winning the league cup as success, as it is a competition no big club takes seriously (same as the FA Cup as well)

Agree with you Stoof, Spurs and Newcastle fans have a very similar view on our own respective status, that we know flies in the face of many other fans' opinions. I personally think they're a bunch of cocks. In terms of international status as one of the barcodes mentions, I have no doubt we would be way ahead of them.

I know for sure I'd rather have our current squad and manager over theirs any day! And the fact we've beaten them to sign Woodgate and Modric in recent months suggests it's not just yids that think that.

As for the racism - it's just fucking repulsive and I'm glad our forum wouldn't stand for it the way theirs clearly does.

Danny B. is a total tit.

But I've got to say that 'keep up the good work, Santini' tickled me no end.

Look ****y, you know in your heart you will never be as big a club as we are in any way shape or form. So if a player isn't good enough for Tottenham, he's fuckin certainly not good enough for us, though not true the other way round - see Kevin Scott, Ruel Fox etc.. and finally this Gomes is totally shite, one shite keeper replaced by another, keep up the good work Santini.

Eek

"Berbatov - Fair enough
Keane - Owen I'd take Owen. Although Keane scored 4 more in the league last season, Owen has recovered from a career threating injury and missed a lot of last season. Great effort to grab 11 I reckon.
Bale - Enrique. Isn't Bale a perma-crock? Seems like he's overrated because he can hit a good free kick. Enrique is good in the tackle, strong as an ox and isn't scared to get forward. Will only improve
King - perma-crock again, will be lucky if he plays 20 next season
Hutton better than Habib Beye? Don't make me laugh
Woodgate is a class act i'll agree."

To be fair, Spurs and Newcastle fans (generally) think they're better than they are. In an argument of who's bigger, I suggest we win - but they've had Champions League football and we haven't, and they've been in a title race in the last 15 years and we simply haven't.

It all goes back to how you define a big club. Newcastle have definitely been more successful than us since the premiership began, although not by a long margin. We're easily a bigger club by virtue of our giant fanbase.

I think Newcastle should be a bigger club. Not only bigger than us but bigger than Arsenal too. However the word used was could and not is...

I think they've blown so many chances over the years (even more than us) of becoming one of the untouchables. Even when they were getting it right and looking like winning the league they went and ruined it by buying whatshisface ruining the team karma.

I'd really love it if they went down again & Sunderland won a cup in the same year.

we should copy that entire thread and if anyone ever complains about our mods just point them towards it a shining example of how bad things could be!
danny b was asking for trouble with the initial post but the way it blew up was pretty unnecessary and it should of been shut down alot earlier makes me appreciate how well run this forum is.

You have got to ask why Danny B is bothering them and not talking here amongst his fellow spurs fans. He is just winding them up to the point where they make racist statements, therefore he should be banned and this would stop the offensive rubbish they write.

I can't be bothered getting into these "Who's the biggest club?" debates.
We're not right up the top, so why bother. If I was a Newcastle, Villa, Man City or Everton fan I could probably make a half-coherent argument that they were bigger than Spurs (NOT saying that I agree). To be honest we're none of us setting the WORLD of football alite.
As one Geordie fan said "It's like arguing over who has the biggest 6 inch cock; they're both average"

I do think we're bigger than those clubs, but getting into a stupid argument over it; there's never going to be a winner and it's always going to descend into a slanging match.

Let's wait until we're consistently up the top of the table and other clubs are threatened by us before we go shouting how great we are from the rooftops!

Fingers crossed it all starts this year!

Hi Camaj :) as ever I'm keeping out of the big club arguments cos no-one can/will agree any criteria

But I most definitely disagree that toon have been more succesful than us since the Prem began - It's the other way round for sure

We've won 2 trophies they've won nowt

Incidentally we're also ever presents in the Prem - from memory they aren't

As for posting on other fans' boards, I never do it as it's only gonna end in tears and tantrums (and that's just from me :)

I do however readily concede I get a good deal of entertainment from reading other fans' forums - and for sheer delusion and comedy genius Toon & West Ham forums are bang on top of the list

I kid you not the other day I was reading a West Ham forum where they were seriously talking about buying Arshavin

This from a club that seems to have a transfer budget of 2 new pence, hasn't won a trophy since 1980, isn't in Europe and has no realistic prospect of winning anything major (I exclude play off matches for 23rd place in the league) in the foreseeable future

Yet one of the brightest prospects in world football is gonna go to them - that's right up there with Arshavin to Everton for £8.5m that was on football rumours

Yes I know Tevz & Masch went to the Spammers and we also know why and how - not likely to happen again methinks

Danny B, as mentioned above is a prick.

I don't think were that much in an elevated position to take the mick. Although I believe were a more well known and successful club than the Toon.

I can't believe the pedestal they have Habib Beye on, they were incredulous when it was suggested that Hutton was better than their right back "..fook right off, we've got Habib Beye like!", brilliant!

Hi DC. I did take that into consideration, and the fact that we also reached the final another time. I do think that a sustained run at the top of the table, higher than we've been since 89 trumps our cups. I do believe that we'll match that in the coming seasons

Incidentally we're also ever presents in the Prem - from memory they aren't

Yes, they came up in 93. Don't get me wrong, they're rubbish but as bad as they've been, they've also had a lot of success. Chelsea are the same, in that they also came up after the premiership begun and are probably pretty delusional.

I do however readily concede I get a good deal of entertainment from reading other fans' forums - and for sheer delusion and comedy genius Toon & West Ham forums are bang on top of the list

How about combining the two and tell Newcastle fans that WH are a bigger club.
