My Prediction:

1. Leicester (78 pts)
2. Tottenham (75 pts)
3. City (70 pts)
4. Arsenal (68 pts)
5. West Ham (68 pts)
6. Man Utd (63 pts)

Leicester 18 points in 9 games, maybe 5W, 3D, 1L)

Spurs 17 points in 8 games, maybe 5W, 2D, 1L

City 19 points in 9 games, maybe 5W, 4D, 0L

Arsenal 16 points in 9 games, maybe 4W, 4D, 1L

Looks like both Spurs and Leicester are going to be scrapping for every point , and no collapse from either through injuries to key players or anything else.

Think you are the only poster so far to think ManCity will improve form from recent matches and overtake Arsenal !

But everyone thinks Wham and ManU cannot do enough to get into the top 4, which is my feeling too.

I'm probably being kind on Man City but I think they will beat Bournemouth, West Brom, Stoke, Sunderland & Newcastle and I think they will draw with Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea & Swansea.

I think Arsenal will win v Villa, Norwich, Sunderland, West Brom & Palace, Draw v City, and Lose to Everton, West Ham & Watford.

I was thinking how amazing it would be for City and pool to win the CL and EL while finishing out of the top 4, with the spammers taking 4th and not getting CL!
I would rather see West Ham in the CL than Liverpool win silverware, because unless we win the title that would make Pool's season more successful than ours.

My dream scenario would be

a) Liverpool not to win EL
b) Arsenal & United to miss out on top4, finish 5th & 6th & get into EL
c) WestHam to make it into top4
d) Watford to win FA Cup
e) WestHam to lose CL qualifiers & booted to EL
f) Ofcourse....we win the title (y)

Just goes to show how much we don't give a shit about those pikey ****s westham. Most of us are not to bothered if they make top 4. Infact most would rather them in the top 4 than Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal. Can you imagine them being the same the other way round? Not a chance!!! They are obsessed with us and their fans would probably see westham throw a game if it meant ruining our chances of the title.

Even being a huge pessimist, I can't see us finishing outside top 4 now...

City even if they win their game in hand would be 7 points off us in 4th.

Yup but its Wham or ManU who would need to overtake us for u to drop out of top 4, both 11 points behind wih a game in hand an inferior goal difference, so kind of 8 and a bit points behind, assuming they win the game in hand.

Still need to win a few more games to be mathematically certain, but its certainly looking good atm

If we beat United next week, then Top 4 is basically nailed on IMO - although I want Top 3, because I don't think I could deal with a play-off.

Lose to them, however, and I'll be very worried (assuming the teams below us win their games in hand).

Even if they beat us I suspect that two more wins for us will secure a top 4 finish.

Agreed that if we beat them that's a top 4 finish sorted.

I can't see them picking up the necessary wins all on the bounce to finish the season ahead of us.

I am seriously worried re top 4, am I not the only one? we have played so well this season but how do the lads react when they know the title is gone. I am genuinely worried as Manure have hit some form, if they beat us next Sunday and lets be honest they usually do at the lane, we then go to Stoke with only a 3 point cushion over Man U, lose that and we could be out the top 4 if Manure win their games. I am genuinely concerned as it would be a capitulation but I have been hurt by this spurs side before, we need to beat them next Sunday, it really is a must win for me.

At the moment we need 4 wins to guarantee top 4. Clearly our biggest threat are Utd and their run in is shockingly straight-forward so next week's game may prove to be a huge 6-pointer. It would be galling considering the awful football they have served up this year. We should be fine but it may be tighter than people think.

Really? In May they have Leicester (H), Norwich (A) and West Ham (A).

I expect them to win their home games (Villa, Palace, Leicester and Bournemouth). I am pinning some hope on Norwich and West Ham (the latter more likely).

We really need them to be in a top four battle when they play Leicester that's for sure.

Except when they don't.

Which has been a lot recently.

This is a good example of when perception isn't reality.

Football isn't played in the past so looking back to last season is largely irrelevant. The only reality is what is happening in the present. Assuming this or that is generally when things go pear-shaped.
