How close is this season?! We're a third of the way through the season and 10 points separates the top 12 teams!
Tbh I'd rather get top 4 when the regular top 4 have played well, I get much more satisfaction out of that.
Mullers wants cake Mullers eats cakeI rather get the top 4 any how then it'll be easier the next year after attracting better players , more money, more coverage, etc...
You know that's not going to happen.I rather get the top 4 any how then it'll be easier the next year after attracting better players , more money, more coverage, etc...
I actually thought we were playing at Stamford Bridge, but now I know it's at the Lane I think we can get 6 points. However, West Ham will still be a very difficult game (Although they lost 2-0 at Watford) and against Chelsea we may face a new manager again.4 points from the next 2 and I think we'll be set up perfectly for a crack at the top 4.
I think we'll do it barring an incredible run of form from Chelsea.
I'm certainly not expecting top 4 and am just enjoying the ride. We've a very young team and at some point i'm expecting us to have a bad spell but as has been said, take it one game at a time and who knows?
Which they are very capable of doing. If it's between us, Liverpool and Chelsea with a ten point handicap then I'd probably have us down as favourites. We're still very much a work in progress but we're further along than Liverpool. Chelsea are still a quality team, but they'd have to go on a record breaking run to make the top 4 from here.
Which they are very capable of doing.
The best thing they could do from our point of view is sack Mourinho and make Terry manager.
I'll have an eighth pleaseImagine if we finish 4th, Chelsea win the Champions League and Liverpool win the Europa League.
Yes BUT...They are capable, but they're in a genuine slump with just shy of a third of the season gone. No one has ever finished top 4 with that amount of points at this stage in the season.

If we seriously challenge for the top 4 we need to win both otherwise it will be a case taking it near the end and potential get pipped at the end of the season4 points from the next 2 and I think we'll be set up perfectly for a crack at the top 4.
