I love stats but the "assist" stat is absolutely the most misleading.
Andros got an "assist" for a shot on goal and Sol could claim the same after last Wed game.
This is an interesting thread and I think it could be made more interesting if we could maybe have a bit more info and opinion.
Sorry, don't really understand what you are askingWhich one do you mean? Soldado currently has two assists, for Eriksen v Man City and Lamela v Brighton.
I will make this post and hope there is an interest in getting a summary of goals scored.

I hope the highlights links are legal-if not mods please delete.
If others wish to post links and descriptions to the goals in other games that would be great.
You can't knock a trier.Nah, you're alright.
Sorry, don't really understand what you are asking
You can't knock a trier.
You said 'Sol could claim the same after last Wed game' in reference to Townsend being credited with an assist for a shot on goal. Presuming by Sol you mean Soldado, I was asking which goal you meant Soldado would claim an assist for by that method, considering that the totals in this thread have only credited him with two assists - the one for Eriksen v Man City and the one for Lamela against Brighton.
Hopefully I can keep it up to date. Maybe need some help of you at times.

Based on your 'total' stats, I think you might need to reconsider your stats for the players below in terms of 'minutes per scoring point'?
Harry Kane - I think this should be... 628 minutes / 10 points = 62.8 minutes per point
Erik Lamela - I think this should be... 912 minutes /10 points =91.2 minutes per point
Great thread, keep up the good work.
Doesn't Townsend get a league assist for winning the FK for Kane?
Doesn't Townsend get a league assist for winning the FK for Kane?
Some sites give a player getting fouled in the box and earning a penalty (that is scored) an assist but not a player who crosses, shoots or passes that hits a defenders hand to earn a penalty doesn't get the assist. Winning a free-kick, doesn't count as an assist. Not sure if winning free kicks and pens count as assists.
No. I will only count direct contribution. I think official sites do the same.
