I don’t really hate these fixtures. We looked intimidated by City in cup final but they were on a great run at the time. I feel like it’s a pretty good time to face them when they’ve not really got going and our mid season fixtures look good.

Fingers crossed the reverse fixtures a good time to face them too. It’s rather likely thats moved to the Sunday & i’d rather my 30th not be ruined by Spurs. A day of laughing at my city friends would be preferable to being laughed at on an already depressing milestone birthday.

I personally don’t think we will sell Jane this year but this fixture ensures he won’t be sold before the season starts. Levy is not going to risk the meltdown there would be be if Jane appeared for Man City on the opening day of the season. It would irreparably damage the start of Fonseca’s managerial debut.

I'll be delighted if we sell Jane over Kane.

Just looked at Liverpool fixtures, and they don't get one game back to back against the Super League 6.

Chelsea have a tough start first 6 games Arsenal, Liverpool, us and Man City. Also seems that Man U have to play us, Man C, Chelsea and Arsenal over 5 games end of October / Beg Nov.

On paper Liverpool seem to have the favorable fixtures.
