We won 2-0 at St James' Park in August and are looking to achieve our first league double over Newcastle since the 2004 -05 campaign. The magpies have won their last three away EPL visits to us, with Ayoze Perez scoring the winning goal on the last two occasions.
We have won our last 17 home EPL games against promoted sides since a 2-1 defeat to Norwich in April 2012. Newcastle haven't visited Wembley since April 2000, losing an FA Cup semi-final to Chelsea, they have lost their last six matches at Wembley, a run stretching back to the 1974 FA Cup final. They have won six EPL away games from losing positions against us, more than any side has beaten another from behind away from home in the competition.
We have lost two of our last four EPL games , more than we had lost in our previous 18 in the competition (W13 D4 L1). We have won our last seven EPL games played on a Wednesday, including two this season (2-0 wins at home against Brighton and Man Utd). Conversely, the Magpies have picked up just two points in their last 13 EPL games played on a Wednesday (W0 D2 L11) since winning 2-0 at Chelsea in 2012.
