Phew. Thank god for that.

Just leaving the ground now and that was the best atmosphere for a while.

A real struggle but for periods of the second half we looked like our old selves.

Well done boys. Doesn’t matter how you did it. But that you did it. Massive two fingers up to those that didn’t think we could get champions league again. I may have a look at the thread asking where are we going to finish this year. And stick two fingers up at myself as well. As I didn’t expect us to be that good. Finish Leicestet off In style. Steal that golden boot off the Egyptian scouser and finish above the fuckers too. We’re coming home Tottenham. And we are bringing champs
League with us!! YES!

It’s not completely out of the question that United could lose their final two games while they’ve got one eye on the FA Cup. Unlikely but there’s a slim chance. God, just imagine if we came 2nd.

No chance of them losing two - Lukaku is out injured for their final two games before the final

£1000 to a pile of poo that Newcastle c***s will roll over on Sunday and let Chelski win, hoping Liverpool will lose. Toon have a Chelski player on loan and I wonder how much they were paid to take him!!!!
Not sure Benitez will agree with that proposal.

Just on the way home but my God we were awful tonight, really got away with it.

Don’t care.

On reflection this season, bearing in mind we played away from the Lane at Wembely;

Can finish 3rd + push for 2nd (above the mighty Liverpool)
Beat Chelski at Bridge when it mattered (28 years)
Took 4 points of Liverpool
Beat Arsenal + Utd in league
Semi final - FA Cup
Topped Champions League Group
Beat Real Madrid, Dortmund
Outplayed Juventus home & away
Kane will score 30 league goals

It hasn't been all bad and a steady progression on the previous season. Its amazing to have champions league football at our new ground. Well done lads & Poch, never doubted you (;))
Too true.
The difference for me between this season and last, comes down to two things:
1) our expectations
2) we've been a bit more inconsistent performance-wise this year, but have managed to grind out results
Love that we qualified again, despite having to play every home game at Wembley.
If there's one thing the last month has shown us... it's that any investment this summer needs to focus on midfield. It's been our biggest Achilles heal all year. If we can get that sorted, I believe we will have a great shot of challenging again for the top and competing for the top 4 again.

Cannot wait for CL games under the lights at our beasty new stadium! The atmosphere should be unreal :)

And so happy I’ve only got to trek to Wembley one last time!

In the greater scheme of things it is an excellent achievement over the course of the season to qualify for the CL when all the critics and so called experts were saying in their droves that we would fall short because of playing all our home games at Wembley.

On tonight's performance and I'm on the way home reflecting on it, we can't call it a classic that's pretty obvious, we rode our luck at times and got the 3 points,so job done, the players seem tired and willing the season to come to an end. A big thank you to Huddersfield because not only do they deserve it they have well and truly done their fans proud picking up successive draws away at City and the Chavs and I wouldn't want us to put in another showing like that on Sunday and hope to come through unscathed, thinking CL qualification is riding on it.

I see straight away what you meant about Gale. Don't like Spurs at all.

Are we still selling all our players and is Poch off as well like all those experts said ?

Delighted!

Awful game...we were very lucky...but for once the ball bounced our way when it mattered...both at Wembley and Stamford Bridge.

Thought the fans were generally brilliant all game...although the booing at half time by some was very odd!

Back Poch in the summer!

Nah, Newcastle will hold their own. Benitez will want to get one over on them and the fans will want a huge last game. Chelsea will be deflated and Conte will already be gone.

Hope you're right and they get a damn good stuffing!

Playing at Wembley and qualifying for the Champions league. I would have snapped your hand off at the start of the season. Just glad I can relax on Sunday and appreciate the hard work the boys have put in all season. I’ve been feeling sick since the draw at Brighton and have felt steadily worse with each under whelming performance since then.
levy get Poch his new contract the players will follow and get the transfers in early COYS
