I've only listened to it a few times but TFC is far too chavvy. Like listening to a conversation down the local cafe.

VFTL is an excellent balancing act. I'm often disappointed it's ending so quickly.

I got quite in to LWOS for a while but like others have said it's too long and too dependent on the guests, most of whom just drone on. We don't need 4 people's 5 minute views on a goalkeeper save. I guess it's popular so they don't need yo change but they could really do with going back to the drawing board with how they structure it and cut out some of the dreadful guests who know nothing.

I'll try out a couple more next season I guess and see what sticks.

View from the lane is the best by some margin.

I have to be in the mood for the Fighting Cock and it often depends on Flavs mood as to how silly it gets. But I like it, they all seem super likeable and make it easy to listen to.

I like the Tottenham way. It's Dan Kilpatrick, Marcus Buckland , Tom Barclay and Tom Allnut ( the latter two are from the sun and the times). Quite similar to VFTL but not as good.

Last word on Spurs sometimes is ok but often a cringefest full of ignorant and stupid takes. Mate I know you're a successful chap but I don't give a fuck about your crazy train or little blue book...

The extra Inch has grown on me. If you don't follow Windy and Nathan Clark on twitter it's far easier to digest as they come across nowhere near as obnoxious on the pod.

I don't mind Gold and Guest but it's often behind so feels out of date.

Hometown Glory is ok if you need a Tottenham fix

Think that's all of them covered

Flav turns up on the overlap with Neville and Carra plus all club supporters on season previews and reviews. Comes across as a quiet, intelligent chap . Unlike the pod at times.
if anyone watches it there is an absolute plank of an Arsenal supporter on it who will not shut up. I think they have binned him now. The bloke who runs ATV is on it as well . The season review should be an interesting watch discussing the Arsenal bottlejob.

Yeah I see what you mean about the 'troubled times' thing.

I'm fully back on board the Extra Inch train now but had to stop listening for much of Jose's tenure. The pod became insufferable due to their relentless dislike of Jose.
I stopped listening to them for the same reason but have never jumped back on. There's just too many pods out there.

Danny is very hit and miss for me but I still think it's the best Spurs pod out there.

Danny also loathed Conte so much and let it shine through bigly in the period between the World Cup and his sacking, that hopefully his mood will improve now that that's all behind us. But his rant/speech that he made around the time Conte was sacked about what Spurs means to him and his take on being a fan is one of the best couple of minutes I've ever heard on any podcast.

I stopped listening to the extra inch a few years ago as i’m not a fan of the host.

Might be an age thing but I get turned off by some of the childish, toilet humour on TFC.
TFC used to be my favourite but I think it’s starting to run its course. I think it was a victim of its own success and since it went to patreon it’s lost what made it my favourite over the years. Mainly due to poor guest but also as you say I think some of the toilet humour is just boring.
I need to give VFTL a go as people seem to like. I don’t mind LWoS at times but again, depends who’s on it and I never listen all the way through as it’s too long.

Surprised a bit at some of the takes here.
VFTL is great. Don't see what some people dislike about Danny K. He's passionate and articulate, and not afraid to make some controversial takes at times.

Extra Inch is very good. By far the best analysis of the actual football. Nathan is very switched on. Don't get what some people dislike.

LWOS I tried 3 times and found it utterly unlistenable.

Each to their own, i suppose. I agree with what many have said on TFC though. Enjoyable, likeable, but could do without all the snagging talk etc, which, as someone posted above, comes across very chavvy

For me it’s the constant interruptions he does.

As others have said VFTL easily the best these days. Recently got into the Tottenham way and it’s quite interesting. Don’t mind the extra inch although windys a bit annoying, and like others I’ve gone off tfc.
Also listened to same old spurs last season which can be good, majestic does some funny bits but the other guy can be a bit of a moaner and they’ve started spending too much time talking about their weekend which I just FF through.
Also tried the cheese room last season, they have the best opening music but ultimately too many moaners there too so unsubscribed.
Ultimately there’s a lot of spurs podcasts out there but I find most of them just annoy me after a while!!

Out of curiosity, what's the Spurs Show like these days?

Was one of the OG podcasts I ever listened to, must be about 15 years ago now, back when Phil Cornwell was on it in the Jol/Ramos/Harry days

Eventually got turned off by Phil's nonsensical waffling (his heart was in the right place but the man chatted a lot of bollocks) although the pod was a good gateway to Spurs history and some of the guests were funny and insightful.

Last time I listened was probably 10+ years ago now. Feels weird to say that about a podcast.

Phil Cornwall hasn't been on it for years, Hosting duties seem to be shared between Theo Delaney or Mike Leigh and both do a good job in my opinion. They have some good guests and it doesn't drag on too long like some other pods 👍

I’m surprised by the disdain now for TFC. I was one that when I first heard it I was immediately turned off by the vulgarity and debauchery on it so to speak. But actually while I roll my eyes at some of it, their pod makes me laugh the most and they have had me crying laughing sometimes. You’re not listening to it to learn anything really. We’ve said over and over again on here that it’s really just for fun and a relaxed chat with mates about Spurs.

It's usually the best one for guests but mike Leigh talks over everyone and interrupts guests so much that I get too pissed off listening to it and end up turning it off.

Windy died on the hill with his opinion that he constantly wanted us to lose under Jose and didn't want to win any trophies under him. To me that's a shocking way of supporting your club. I hated Jose and wanted him out but still wanted us to win games and try and win trophies.
And Nathan made a really bad gag and tried to excuse it away and the two of them came off really badly from that shit show.
Refused to listen to it ever since and I definitely wasn't the only one
