I am less than impressed by Pochettino's win ratio 37%; also we did them twice last year(they being 2 up in one game),this allied with the fact that everyone drools over the Southampton players; Englands brightest and best ,the returns are poor in my opinion.
Just doesnt fill me with excitement ,but i suppose what do i know ?.

Just to take this a step further. Could there be a link to our transfer activity this summer. We desperately need a left back and never replaced a world class left sided forward who has gone on to score a decisive goal in a Champs league final. Evra signed a new contract at United and we cannot be sure that LVG wants Luke Shaw. Rumour has it he has already vetoed several moves that United had lined up before his appointment. There is probably no better time for a young player to join Spurs as a bit like the England team, expectations are at the lowest in years. He will also get a chance for at least 2 more big moves in his career so why go to United now and play second fiddle to Evra and with all the pressure that comes with playing for such a massive club. He has also seen GB go on to bigger things (he ironically also turned down a move to United when we took him) so a move to us could make more sense in the long run.

And then that brings us to Lallana, Liverpool have been linked with him since the season finished but the deal isn't done and like we saw with Konopylanka in the Jan window, the Reds hierarchy seem to set a limit and will not go over it to get a player.

I know the above could be deemed wishful thinking but I think there is a possibility that they could happen given the impact this manager has had on both their fledgling careers so far. So go on Levy slap down £45 - 50m for the pair and give us long suffering fans something to shout about after a dire season!!

Either will do. I don't care. I've had enough. Toss a coin. Oh. I know.. Eeny meeny... No. Scrap that. I would put the two of them up against each other in a sack race. A very apt and Tottenham sport.

And the winner would be whoever got closest to the finishing line ?
