Don't feel like going anymore this season , I think that will be my final game, tim is watless the 2 pointless subs stopped us playing and killed the game , out of his depth but not his fault, sack him and do what, just stick with him and see out the a Season now.

We would have been better keeping last years team, minus bale, and putting 100 million into the stadium fund

He can't win. Losing the game and fans crying out for a sub.

I feel like I can almost breathe a sigh of relief but then I remember we still have another west ham loss to deal with. Roll on summer. It's been truly exhausting.

Why is it going to get any better in the summer? Club needs a whole revamp

You think chelsea would buy 7 players, accept finishing 4th next year as they need time to settle in? No chance

The thing is they would go out and buy another seven, and if they didn't work out another seven. In fact that's what they and Man Citeh have done.

Three very good players would have put us in a better place than the seven that Baldini brought in during the July Summer Sales irrespective of whom our manager was. That's a bit harsh on Eriksen, Paulinho and Chadli but you get my drift.

Redknapp set out his system, and brought in players on a budget who knew exactly what their role on the pitch was. I have still to see a Spurs side in any game this season where i could see tactics, movement and an end product in any two games. In fact i watched the Fulham game on Saturday and saw a more cohesive team unit than any one of our performances up until today where, for periods throughout the game players actually looked for the ball.

I also don't understand why Soldado is forever on the bench.
Te only time in recent months we've looked like scoring is when we play 2 up front.
Dim Tim waited too long to play that card (again).
Two up front increases our odds of opportunities.
Ade can work his socks off (in the wrong areas of the field).
We're just about the 5th best team in the league - more likely the 6th.

I agree with this bit, but many a tactical genius on here will tell you that it's naive to play two up front. Leaves us outnumbered apparently. Must have a couple of DMs apparently.

Until your suggested new overhaul, I reckon we're better off playing with two up top. We just can't get their keeper working at all unless we go out to try to win with a couple of strikers rather than trying to not lose with extra midfielders.

Makes losing in the first minute all the more painful.

Saw lots to be cheerful about today.

Was thinking Brendan Rodgers would not have lasted 6 months at Spurs.

Many want Tim to go, but I'm not so sure.

I'd take the way Man Citeh play. Now i know that we don't have their financial resources but that does not mean that a team cannot play a tactical 4-4-2 and win, score goals and be successful. If whoever comes into Spurs and decides to stamp a game plan something like (for example) a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 then half this squad will be adios as they just don't fit into that system successfully now.

Horses for courses they say and this lot have fallen at the first hurdle from what i have seen under two managers from different countries who believe in different theories on the way the game should be played. We are failing miserably at both and the manager(s) cannot be totally to blame.

Wooohooo! We only lost by one!

Seriously though, naff result, average performance. Substitutions really stunted what was proving to be a better second half. Also, what the fuck does Bentaleb have on Tim? How the hell was he on the pitch for 90 minutes when Sandro, Chadli and Eriksen weren't.

The sooner this season is over and we can get an experienced manager in and move forward the better.

Unfortunately, i doubt we will see a 'Liverpool-esque' turnaround in fortunes.

Brendan Rodgers is a fairly experienced manager known for attacking football and Liverpool have backed him and given him sufficient time and patience despite the initial teething problems.

At present, Spurs don't seem to have a stable/long term manager at the helm and despite, having a decent squad on paper it's still un-balanced and lacking in certain areas.

I think we're at 'King-Kenny' stage right now

Sorry for the pessimism but i had so much optimism for this season after last and it's yet another false dawn at Spurs
I agree with the manager comments; we need stability and to invest in the managers vision and style with patience. Sherwood is not this manager. De Boer or LVG would be. I do believe we have a core of players that are the basis of a great team. Other players we have signed will hopefully step up to the plate once they settle. We all know where the obvious weaknesses are and what needs to be addressed in the summer, let's just hope this happens. I do believe the distraction of Europa league games and the disruption to consistent starting line ups has had a impact on our league form.

Great post. Esp about the players not having a clue what to do. That's why a van gaal is needed

Same here mate, I don't think I will be watching us again this season. No brand of football, let's hope for changes in the summer and start next season with a bang.
