"Gylfi Sigurdsson did very well the the other day at West Ham, he deserves some credit and I put him back in the team. It is a wonderful opportunity to put ourselves in a comfortable position". AVB - On BBC

AVB has transformed us into a cohesive unit where even when individual parts are not playing so well we still function as a team unit, that gives me great confidence today.

Bale is playing out of his skin, and every freekick or shooting chance he gets they are going to be in panic stations from fans to players and management.
Dembele and Parker are getting to no each other's games better all the time, and Parker is regaining some of the drive from last season.
BAE is looking more like his old composed self with every game.
Lloris means we can play a higher line and press Arse more up the pitch than we are used to.
Ade is always pumped to play the Goons, and usually does well against them (certain moments aside...)
Lennon has had some great games against even the Arse's best left backs of the day, and I doubt Monreal will have come up against many like him in Spain...
Walker has fond memories of Goons at home.

Siggy will know this game could be the one where he wins over the Spurs faithful in one fell swoop.

Really wish i had a decent stream for this one today. Looking after the little 'un and can't be in the pub for it. Most of the streams these days seem to be pants..
Pm'd :)

Just watching the build up and in both games against l'arse for Avb (us and Chelsea) his team has conceded 5 :( My pants were already skid row central as it is! Just a win, any kind of win and I feel it would give us massive momentum into the last 10 games....I want 3 points and I want em now!!

Good call to start with Siggy, see how he gets on and bring on Holtby against tired defenders. Happy with the team, Verts and Dawson should be able to handle Giroud - we really need our full backs to stay focussed all game though.
I expect Cazorla will try a few long range shots and Wilshere will try to push up, so Parker and Dembele can't go AWOL too often.

Will be interesting to see if Ade gets himself in the box a bit more with Siggy on the pitch to cross the ball in... He really needs to put a shift in and stay more advanced this game.

As much as I hate the build up and the feeling during this game I am looking forward to it...

Why are our former players turned pundits always so unkind to us? Jamie Redknapp, Waddle, Crooks evn Linekar sometimes.
