I think if the chavs lose to United tomorrow and we knock the out of the cup, I can see them having a major wobble, am I the only one who thinks this?

I can't see us not winning every remaining game with the form we are in.

Call me a pessimist but winning every remaining game is still a massive task, even in this form. What I'm not looking forward to is somebody describing us as "Spursy" the moment we draw or lose, we've been anything but Spursy this season. If Chelsea drop points tomorrow then all of a sudden things get really interesting.

I honestly don't know who we could bring in to truly improve our first choice starting 11.
I don't know, either. I look at it and don't see a weak link or a player I dislike. The squad as a whole is different but buying squad players is hard, too..

I think we need the one extra special player, perhaps a hazard type player but that may not be possible.

The only way to improve this team realistically is now by winning something in my view. In the next year or two we do need to win things which will enhance their mentality, experience and stature

That player last summer was Ousmane Dembele, the players this summer we need to go balls out to get are either of the Monaco pair Bernardo Silva or Lemar.

Perhaps but they all keep improving massively because they're young.
Eriksen and son are at a different level this season

I'd love to have Isco and Zaha but with Eriksen taking more risks with his passes in 2017 and Lamela to return, I don't think Isco or someone similar is needed.

Zaha (or similar) would be a game changer and would take the attack to another level.

I am not thinking manure will win tomorrow, but it may be a draw.. Dropping 2 points maybe better than nothing.. What I really hope is chelscum having some injuries.. The moment they do, I can see them dropping a few more points.. But I still dare not dream we will win the rest of our games. I think we will draw one at least.

Whilst I would rather know the Chelsea result earlier than tomorrow, it works both ways.
Chelsea have to sit on this until tomorrow before they can respond and it's against united. I still think Chelsea have too much, but it will be interesting to see how the wait plays on their minds.

I think a lot of our collapse last season was due to having to wait, the pressure builds. All be it Chelsea aren't chasing and have a healthy buffer.

probably the United game.
I really hope United win tomorrow, because well, a)for the obvious and b) because I do think we might struggle to get the win.

A well coached Zaha would be an absolute beast.

I say Vincent will finally get his goal today. He will come on with us 3-0 up, and score a thunderous goal into the roof of the net.
Just you all watch:cautious:
Thanks marty, can I borrow your sports compendium for the rest of the weekend please?

So unbeievably positively positive.
Consecutive wins, Harry kane's record, goal difference, Janssen's goal, clean sheet,
Should have been 6 or 8 but I'll let that go this time.
Second week running we can sit back and watch with no pressure.
Any youngsters who have started following Spurs in the last five years or so
do not, do not, do not know how lucky they are.

Am I right in saying Lloris now has joint most clean sheets in the PL this season? Impressive considering he has missed a few games

What's the weakness in this team. Throw in lamela, winks and Rose and it's super tough to upgrade in the summer without upsetting things

Added depth needed, and a out n' out winger with pace please. Or indeed the Zaha of Palace would suit us.

That was actually a well taken goal, in every respect, from Janssen. I said a few weeks ago that he needed to add that "roll the defender" aspect to his game, and he has. He did it against Watford and was unlucky not to score. He did it again today with a lovely turn. The more pleasing thing though was that, after seeing yet another effort saved, he could have snatched at the rebound, but didn't. He kept his composure and slotted it away with the opposite foot. A lovely goal, from a strikers point of view, that should do wonders for his self belief.

Really made up for the boy.
