That was actually a well taken goal, in every respect, from Janssen. I said a few weeks ago that he needed to add that "roll the defender" aspect to his game, and he has. He did it against Watford and was unlucky not to score. He did it again today with a lovely turn. The more pleasing thing though was that, after seeing yet another effort saved, he could have snatched at the rebound, but didn't. He kept his composure and slotted it away with the opposite foot. A lovely goal, from a strikers point of view, that should do wonders for his self belief.

Really made up for the boy.
Agreed. As soon as Boruc saved it I thought "poor lad's never gunna score". So glad for him, hopefully he can come on and do that frequently now.

Sat a couple of seats behind Ledley King today, he was up cheering every goal just like the fans. I love that man....

I nearly cried. So did my 18 year old son.

Bournemouth defender Steve Cook speaking to Sky Sports: "That was tough. Tottenham were outstanding today. We hardly touched the ball all game.

"When you play one of the top four teams, you expect to be under pressure but today we only mustered a couple of shots on target.

"That’s the first time we have been a bit embarrassed.

"We have had a tough run of games and we knew Tottenham were going to be a tough team to beat.

"We very much need to improve but all credit to Spurs as they were a different class today.

"I am just disappointed with our defensive display."

There were many highlights for me today, but being a few beers down I really have to thank all our fans for making wheelchair feel so welcome at the Lane. I honestly laughed so much I started crying. Ya'll are class :ROFLMAO:

Like any decent mentor, the pleasure derives from seeing a youngster fully take on board what he is being taught, continue to work hard, despite the planets all seeming to align against him, and finally exorcise a demon.
.

The force is strong in this one

Shame Sky buggered up most of his swansong by playing highlights during match play as usual.

I think this has been the reason we have been so good since the turn of the new year, we have found a way to become completely unpredictable, we have mastered multiple formations, teams don't know how to play against us.

We used to struggle when teams pressed us high, it doesn't seem that way anymore.

Our last loss was to Liverpool. We haven't learned to beat them yet and I think it's cos we play our natural game and it plays into their hands.

Outside of that we're near perfect.

I look back to the game at Stamford Bridge. We were unlucky in the game but it was after an away champions league match (while chelsea relaxed) as well so unlucky timing of that fixture. If we won it would look so different.

We dropped 10 pts in the 6 games after our cl matches and if Chelsea were in the CL we would be top. I'm convinced of it...

Excellent game today - probably the most dominant, one-sided football match I Can remember in a very long time. Took my lad so he's just seen back to back 4-0 games and thinks this is the norm. Get him hooked now and it'll be too late by the time he realises! :D:cool::cautious:

This is by far the best, strongest, most consistent spurs team in my lifetime (born 84). Over the last 2-3 seasons we've been brilliant. Can't praise the team enough. To be second at this stage among all the financial muscle in the rest of the big clubs is a massive achievement. Hope they get rewarded with some silver.
