OK Adam if you insist. I'll send a memo to Levy to arrange for an inflatable penis to be placed on your seat.

Love being the early game and on a Sat too. Well, I love it when we win. if we lose, no more football will be watched for the entire weekend.

Thanks!! (y)

How do you feel about your man Chiriches coming to Tottenham? And how do you think he will do for us? He was okay his first run out I thought, a bit nervy first 1/2 but settled down fine for his first game

Personally I'm excited to see him play for your team. Was afraid that he'd be stolen by Mourinho before he gets to you guys. Also, I'm sad. He was a key player in our squad. Because of him we've beaten Ajax and had 2 pretty damn good matches vs Chelsea in EL. Now something is missing from our squad without 2 of our CB and the only striker that was good also left the team.

Vlad is pretty promising. I don't know Dawson so well, but with proper care and attention he has all chances of taking Dawson's place in the starting XI.

I watched the game also. Indeed, Vlad's first 25 minutes were awfull, haven't seen him like that before. With minutes passing, the stronger and secure he became. His second half game is the Vlad I know.

He has an excellent ability to read the game and his speed often gets him out of jams of his own causing. He can play CB, played full back on the right, and also was a striker in 2007-2008 at Benfica. He is right footed, but you can be surprised how well he's doing with his left. But he does have one weak point. The only thing he needs to work on is his air game.

I don't want to brag him, but I'm telling you from all my heart, I believe he can become your next hero. He works hard to improve himself and obviously he has skill. Compared to Vertonghen he's very similar, in fact I could say that Vlad can surpass him from many points of view.

I really think that Vlad paired with Jan could be hazardous.

I also love being the early game. It is on at 9.30 pm on a sat night in Australia. Means you can enjoy the weekend or drown sorrows after game.

Unfortunately we don't have many of these games.

This is a big game but unless we lose, we are ok.

Win perfect but I would be picking a draw.

I really think AvB has messed up the pre match,

Should not have addressed his relationship with Mourinho

Should have focused on the game

Should have flagged up our poor record against them

Given our players a carrot

and left them with the expectation.

Poor Avb I'm afraid.

Will be my first game at the Lane tomorrow, only been able to watch my beloved Spurs once before - when we beat AC Milan at San Siro in the CL a few years back. It was an unlikely win back then and a win is a lot more possible now, counting myself as a good omen ;) Looking forward to having a great time! COYS!

Maybe it is the opposite. AVB puts all the attention on the manages and takes it off Eriksen, Lamela, Soldado, Paulinho etc. Seems a good move to me.

Let us also remember we have almost a completely new team who don't have the history of losing to Chelsea, or anyone really. All this talk of 'poor record' means nothing to our new manager and new team

Indeed. We have a never say die attitude now, added to new creative outlets in Eriksen, Lamela and Holtby. I'm confident, but incredibly nervous too. I know we have the potential to boss the midfield and overrun them, while they could suddenly switch on and match us blow for blow.

I agree. Mourhino has won the moral high ground on this occasion as he refused to talk about his relationship with AVB in his press conference.
