I totally forgot there's a very good chance we will play Chelsea again, and in a cup final no less.

Frak..they have a chance of revenge. I'll be rooting hard for creepy brendon Rodgers to do them
Na fuck it lets do em in again, restore order in London

Some observations from the game:

Walker is one of the best right backs in the country. He had Hazard in his pocket for most of the game. We're lucky to have him.

As I predicted last season; Chadli could well turn out to be our new Bale. He out bullied, out thought and out ran Chelsea's back line, He's also capable of scoring a few too. He'll only get better.

The Faz is a rock and Vertonghen is up for the big games against big strikers.

Bentaleb is turning into quality and I hope we dont miss him when he's at the ACN.

Kane is quality and I hope he can show consistency next season, this season already being a success no matter what happens here on in.

Eriksen is worth a mention for his ability to keep it simple, but very effective. Everyone else played well, even Rose and Townsend.

Poch showed that he can out tactic Mourinho. I get the impression he completely caught Muorinho out and JMo didnt know how to respond.

If it hadnt been for us gifting a couple of goals, we could have properly humiliated them

Watching MOTD (again), and just noticed the lack of appeals from Chelsea players for the Vertonghen "handball". There's nothing.

From Chelsea, a team known for crowding refs, that says it all to me!

And we've played City and Arsenal away. We do have to go to Old Trafford and Anfield, but I'm not so worried about them these days. We can beat Arsenal at home too. The only one that will give us real trouble is City at home. Other than that we should get maximum points from all our remaining games. :ROFLMAO:
3 point Trafford you say?

No problemo

lol I think you need to calm down a bit, learn to shut up and stop the knee jerking and you won't be called up on it.

What's happened here is that you got embarrassed because you made some silly comments and you got exposed, criticise the selection after the match is done not before.

Think you need to man up personally.
Was grumpy as fk this morning lol. Hardly any sleep and first day back at work.
Apologies for rant. Edited post this afternoon but looks like you got there first.
I posted starting with Rose over Davies was fkin dumb and I stick by that. I wouldn't have done it for reasons shown early in the game but it paid off in the end. That's football. If we end up playing them in cup final I'll say it again.
You say post afterwards but whats the point of that?
You're saying don't give an opinion on a team selection in case you're wrong, do it afterwards and look like a smart arse.
No, I wont do that and this site would be fkin shit boring if everyone took that view.
And Im not getting arse ache with being pulled up on it by those who do give an opinion. I have got a problem with these dickheads who dont post anything and then troll the thread throwing ratings about after the match thinking they're fkin clever.

He moaned about the exact same shit with AVB. Hates rotation of any kind.
Really?
Avb changed the team every game so yes I wasn't impressed.
Worked out well didnt it.
I suppose you and numb nuts had Rose and Walker as first name on the team sheet after their impressive display at Leicester.
No, you just keep quiet.
Maureen is hardly making any changes but what does he know.
And I wouldn't put the same 11 out against eg Leicester at home as I would Chelsea away so thats bollox but thanks for speaking up for me. :finger:

Sounds like Cahill is going to get away with that kick on kane
Really? That's absolutely ridiculous if he does. Was it Cahill who upended rose for our 2nd (of 5!!!) as well? He was lucky to be on the pitch y'know. Typical Chelscum tactics when things don't go their "God-given" way - nastiness. 'Orrible football club & ethos..,

Cahill upended Rose, gave away their penalty, another clear booking, and then the kick AND stamp (both probably red cards in their own right - but certainly worth one together) on Kane. How he finished the game on the pitch I do not know

laughable the F(uck) A(ll) are taking no action but not surprising, that would require some backbone.

If I may just add to this:

Lloris is probably our most important player in the past 10 years bar Modric and Bale. He is simply world class between the posts and once again showed us why we are truly blessed to have a keeper like him in both this and the United game along with the rest of the season. 110% deserves to be wearing the captain's armband. Don't think our defense would be half as confident without him behind them simple as that.

We are not worthy Hugo :notworthy:

This makes interesting reading from a Chel53a blog on the ridiculous comments by Moaninho on referees 'conspiracy' from :

THE HARDING PERSPECTIVE

Link : http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2015/1/2/7481761/the-harding-perspective-tottenham-a

''I also wish Mourinho would stop trying to blame referees for everything. He had a legitimate gripe against Southampton, but what was he complaining about yesterday? His comments are merely making the club look ridiculous and drawing unwanted attention from every media source. BT Sport was absolutely delighted that we were beaten yesterday; Steve McManaman could barely contain himself''

Also one of their fans threw an apple on the pitch at one of our players when they were taking a throw in in that corner. They should be reported for that.

Their last two goals would be My only complaint last night but they happened each time we were too comfortable and we switched off a bit.
But i agree we should have humiliated them like germany done to Brasil something for their fans to think about for å few years.
