What was the original point? What was the question of that point? And what is the answer?

No one is questioning his ability to make saves. Has he let in soft big game goals from time to time? Yes he has.

As usual, people love to take a basic question, see the basic answer, and then pretend it was a totally different conversation for their confirmation bias....

Said it before and I'll say it again. In big matches loris lets in soft goals time and time again and cost us valueble points

That was the original point...about letting in soft goals from time to time NOT time and time again, the context in your interpretation is different fella.

Helps if you read and comprehend the original point before you rebuttal...

Ah god, Ive had 5 Chelsea fans at work already laughing at me and saying things like "you won the possession"......I hate Mondays like this!! I then try to say we were the better team but they just say this:

"We didn't have Hazard, Cahill, Fabregas. Bakayoko & Morata werent fit and we still beat you"......

The worst thing is that they are right! We had Rose out and Wanyama wasnt fit......thats it.....!

I've been catatonic since the end of the match.

Just coming back to normal, haven't felt this bad since the 1987 Cup Final defeat.

Still hasn't sunk in. Ah well.

Completely agree with this, in the grand scheme of things its not that important, its just a league match.
But it feels different somehow.
I fucking hate Wembley, but I'm so relieved we have another match there before the break.
We NEED to smash Burnley next week, thats for sure.

I just couldn't see this defeat coming and was so confident pre match that Spursy matches like this were a thing of the past. I feel so low, almost to the point of depression. Worse still, me and my big mouth have set me up for a week of hell. Last weekend when Chelski lost, I couldn't stop myself having a gloat with a Chelsea supporter I know. I am dreading seeing him this morning. I now know what it is like to feel suicidal.

COYS please take me out of this mood of the depth of despair.

Just watched MOTD and for once they were spot on. We were sucked in by a very Italian old school defensive game. They also knew that they had no worries down the flanks as we had no one to take them on; Davies can't do that and Tripier mostly doesn't. Chelsea packed the middle of the pitch and we insisted on trying to go through the middle. We turned a wide pitch into a narrow one and that played right into the hands of Chelse

This is why I find it ridiculous that we sold Walker, his pace would stretch teams, we don't have that anymore.

When people talk about Walker they always say "He isn't that big of a miss, Trippier has better end product"

Thing is though, it wasn't about his end product, it was about how he stretched teams wide and made spaces for players like Eriksen and Kane and Dele, Trippier rarely does that and frankly he and Davies both looked out of their depth yesterday.

I replied to somebody that asked for examples. With examples. His context was that Lloris NEVER lets in soft goals, which is untrue.

Helps to read the whole conversation.

Fella...

Mate. Really?

I don't get the Dier hate.

I think he is one of the best players we have. Above Wanyama.

He is just amazing. But he should be playing where Wanyama plays. He is a world class dm. Play him in front of the back 3/4. Wanyama is a beast but so is Dier. And Dier is better in their box attacking. He is as good as Pogba in that position.

Poch is just obsessed with playing Dembele, Dier and Wanyama in the same team. I don't get it.

It makes us less forceful in offence to have three of the same type of players. Dembele is the best at covering midfield, Dier is the best at bursting forward. Wanyama is brilliant at stopping their play. But when a team is just defending it's better to just drop the enforcer.

He is redundant.

Hopefully getting Sanchez this is what Poch is thinking.
No Dier hate from me, I appreciate what he does for the team. I am purely talking about yesterday's game, I felt it wasn't one of his best.

Rose and Walker scared teams with pace and power. What you say is what I have said several times; they allowed us to play a certain way. Trippier may have a great delivery but it's no good if he doesn't get into positions to cross the ball. He and Davies were a great back up pair but The Walker/Rose combination was the best I I have seen at WHL

Chelsea came to Wembley to defend themselves. They did indeed defend themselves. We created more chances and held the ball well. I honestly thought we were gonna get at least 1 point yesterday. The lads gave 100% and we can't fault that

True last year poch only used Davies and trippier in certain games the big matches it was walker and rose, apart from the semi final and look what happened there all the possession and still lost.

That bloody drum. I've no objections to the return of Danny the Drum but one over the PA? It was like bloody Ice Hockey. Was it even legal to play it by Premier League rules? I know some teams have music after a goal (another bad idea) but just pumping that out during play? Everyone stopped what they were doing to have a look round to see where it was coming from.

I think if we play with the same tempo and intent as we did with for most of the game yesterday then I think we will. An early goal will help alot.

I understand where you're coming from and you're right. It's just painful to watch, that's all. Doesn't have to be against Spurs, the guy playing football to level he does feels like an injustice.

I want the forum to know who he is.

We've questioned the potential signing of Serge Aurier for historic homophobic comments and attitude.....And then there's this guy, playing for the Champions.

Nobody, no matter who the club, knows anything about his past, or seemingly gives a fuck.
His club is Chelsea. Morality never enters into the equation with them. Seems he has ended up at the perfect place.

Just remember they are Chelsea. Despite everything would you ever envy someone who supports THEM? As I keep saying, you can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig.
