To offset some possibly crap results against the bigger teams, surely maximum of 18 points from these games should be the basic target..At least 14 points from those six please.

As others have said, we "dominated" because Chelsea allowed us to.
I worry about the teams who come and attack us at Wembley. Every time Chelsea got into the final third, they seemed one ball away from splitting our defense open.
You'd think sanchez would be close to starting given his fee and the fact he's been training up until the last few days so won't be unfit. On the balance of things, dier starts over wanyama in midfield next week anyway. He was subbed because of the yellow, not because he was bad.Today proved that Dier and Poch have agreed that he won't play CB ever again. Not that it would've made a difference but was very surprised we weren't playing 3 at the back considering how it worked against Chelsea last year at home.
Wanyama needs game time to get sharp, Dembele was motm today. It'll be very interesting to see if Dier starts CM next week.
As @ravenspurs said above having a pacey wingback on each side opens up the pitch for us because the width and threat in behind they provide makes it difficult for teams to sit back against us.While you may be right. I don't recall a single moment in that game where I thought "if we had more pace, we'd have scored there". Chelsea had a game plan, defend deep and be organized, and that's what they done. Apart from a couple of moments when we were 1 down, they didn't open us up or really get in behind us
U wot son? I don't doubt for a second Shearer can handle himself, but Souness is titanium tipped nails.I think Shearer would beat Souness in a scrap.
The fake drum was embarrassing! Who ever came up with that idea at the club should be fired
yes, I was concerned the Burnley defeat , although amusing at the time, would probably fire them up for this onePlus, much like when we went to City last year after they got stuffed by Everton, these kind of teams full of champions don't like getting stick and criticism, it fires them up.
I would agree with all of this except that Azpilicueta has played in their CB3 ever since Conte switched to it. It's not exactly a role he's uncomfortable in.
He grew up supporting West Ham.Personally couldn't give a fuck about contes celebrations.

We look shit this year.
Fake drums through the speakers and half half scarfs.
